Kiara lost her owner to cancer. He was a police officer and gave her to a friend that had to recently move to a single room and could not take her. He was so desperate to not find her someone to take her that one of our volunteers spotted him with her off a busy street w a sign he made where he wrote "Free". She has been in our care since her birthday where she had just turned 5yrs old. She is very smart, sweet, loves to play with her stress ball and does well with other bigger dogs. ❤️ Let's find this beauty a home with experience.

She`s playful, affectionate, and full of life, but like many young, active dogs, the shelter environment can be stressful. Our behavior team works with her every day to give her enrichment, training, and outlets for her energy. Here`s the thing about Bridget... she`s wicked smart! The teen campers taught her to sit, down, spin, and give paw all in under an hour. She loves playing fetch, squeaky toys, treats, and learning new tricks. She`s just looking for someone who understands her energy and her heart Bridget would do best in a feline free home, but she does well with other dogs and would love an adopter who wants an adventure buddy, not a couch potato.
