WATCH MY VIDEO...Imagine becoming part of a family, spending two wonderful years with the people you love, and then suddenly finding yourself back at the shelter because someone developed allergies. It breaks your heart, especially when, like Devo, you did absolutely nothing wrong. Devo is a handsome 2-year-old brindle Dutch Shepherd who is ready to put that difficult chapter behind him and find a family who will love him for all the years ahead. He is incredibly friendly, loves affection and treats, and is always happy to make new friends. He enjoys toys, especially his Frisbee, and one of his favorite outings is a trip to the park. If there’s a chance to go for a swim, even better! Devo is wonderful with people and has lived successfully with children, including infants. He is not a fan of cats, and he can be choosy about canine friends, particularly dogs who are not neutered. A dog meet would be recommended to make sure everyone is a good match.This smart guy does have some allergies and has been on allergy medication on and off. His new family should be prepared to continue working with their veterinarian to keep him comfortable. Devo is an active dog, so exercise is a must. He would love a family who enjoys getting outside and can give him plenty of opportunities to run, play, swim and explore. He could also benefit from some additional training. He is such a sweet boy, but he gets excited and likes to jump up to say hello, something we are working on with him while he’s with us. Devo has already shown that he knows how to be a loving member of a family. Now he just needs someone willing to make a lifelong commitment to him. Meet Zyn! 🐾 Zyn is an almost 2-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Lab mix with a huge heart and a goofy personality. He is a very large, energetic boy who doesn't realize how big he is! He is incredibly loving, affectionate, and a huge love bug. Zyn needs an active home with plenty of space to run, play, and get exercise. He lives with young children, cats, and another dog. He is loving with people and has never shown aggression. He is interested in the cats and wants to play, but they aren't always interested in him. Rehoming Zyn has not been an easy decision. Unfortunately, our other family dog has shown aggression towards him as she is an older dog and doesn’t want to play with him. We want Zyn to have a safe, peaceful, loving home. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and comes with his large crate. Zyn is a working dog breed and must go to a home that will give him plenty of exercise everyday♥️

Sometimes a dog comes back to us, and we wish more than anything that we could change the one thing that made it impossible for them to stay. For Chance, that thing is something she has no control over—the Florida weather.Chance is a 4-year-old Dutch Shepherd/Malinois mix who has already experienced what it feels like to have a home, and we know she is hoping her next one will be forever. She is a smart, sweet girl who loves her Nylabones, absolutely believes food is the answer to everything, and enjoys leisurely walks where she can stop and sniff to her heart's content. She knows her sit and down, is working on her stay, and is house-trained and good with other dogs. When life is calm, Chance is also perfectly comfortable spending a normal workday home alone.Unfortunately, storms are anything but calm for Chance. Her fear of thunderstorms is extreme, and without significant medication and careful management, she can become so terrified that she hurts herself or destroys things around her. Having someone home helps, but doesn't completely take the fear away.That's why we're looking for a very special adopter—someone who lives outside of Florida where severe storms are less frequent, or someone who is home most of the time and is prepared to patiently manage her through stormy weather.Chance isn't defined by her fear. She's a loving, goofy, intelligent girl who just needs someone willing to understand the part of her that is scared. This is sunny! He is a Dutch shepherd I adopted from the shelter a few years ago, I adopted him with the intent that if he wasn’t the right fit for my home I would find a better home. He did not do well in the shelter and would pace in circles! He does well with some dogs but doesn’t get along with any intact males! Which is one of the reasons I’m rehoming him and he also needs to be with someone was has the time as he is a lot of dog! I have three working dogs and he is the most high strung and stubborn one. He still runs circle I don’t think that will ever change. He was definitely a dog that shouldn’t been in the shelter. He should not be in a home with kids or cats. Older kids or kids who know dogs boundaries would be okay! He doesn’t do well with cats but with someone who has experience with these type of dogs would also be fine! I have cats myself he has chased them and barks at them in his crate. He is also crate trained and he does have some allergies!
