Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Olivia!Olivia came to PRBJ from an overcrowded out of state rescue.  She was brought in by the Pilots for Paws which bring dogs from rural places to larger cities to help them find a home.  Unfortunately, Olivia had been waiting at this rescue since 2024 when she came in with her litter of pups.  He pups were adopted, while Olivia sat and waited.  She loves people and we are working with her on reactivity to other dogs.  It seems when she is out and about that she does well, but when in the kennels, she is not fond of any dog. At this time we are requesting a home with no other dogs.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 30, 2026, 12:27 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dina grew up in the rescue and is  housetrained. She picks up commands quickly, we are still in the process of haing her be comfortable in a harness and on a walk.     She loves to chew on toys, with some standing up to her better than others, but plush ones don’t stand a chance. She’s very active and needs another dog to play with. While she can be bossy, she backs down if the other dog asserts itself. Dina loves playing tag and is quite good at it.    She obeys when using hand signals, respects a water bottle, and has learned not to beg at the table. She hasn’t been around children, and it’s unclear if she’s ever even seen one. She is very loyal to her person, she loves to cuddle up to you and get attention or she will just hang out on the couch to watch tv.While leash training is a work in progress, Dina would thrive in a foster or foster-to-adopt home..  If you are seeking a dog to welcome into your family,  we invite you to consider her. While she may need time to feel comfortable with new people, her loving heart ensures she does not stay distant for long. Another dog in the home is requiredA fenced yard is requirement. She is a foster to adopt. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tuck is still very shy around strangers, but once he gets to know them, he improves. He will need time to adjust to a new home and requires a household without children. He is housetrained and has learned not to beg at the table. No matter who is eating or where, he won’t approach unless invited. He has a big dog bark and will alert you when strangers are near. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loving and just wants affection—belly rubs are his favorite. He is also a talker and a groaner. All these characteristocs make him an adorable boy. He’s still resistant to the leash, but we believe he will thrive with the right foster family. Fenced yard is required and another dog is a must. Foster to adopt home and will be neutered before adoption.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 24, 2026, 2:34 pm

Story
Everly is a 12-year-old Belgian Malinois with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. Don’t let her age fool you—she still has plenty of energy for walks, playtime, and spending time with the people she loves. She’s incredibly loyal and thrives when she’s included in the family’s daily routine. She’s fully house-trained, knows how to live comfortably indoors, and has wonderful manners around the home. Everly enjoys being active but is just as happy relaxing beside you after a fun day together. She forms strong bonds with her people and is looking for a family that will give her the love, attention, and stability she deserves.Like many Belgian Malinois, she’s intelligent and benefits from regular exercise and mental enrichment. She would do best with someone who understands the breed or is committed to keeping her engaged.Rehoming Everly is an incredibly difficult decision, and my only goal is finding the right home where she’ll be cherished for the rest of her life.

Story
He was adopted almost 3 years ago and has been the most loving and kind gentle giant. Loves hugs, to cuddle, and has such an amazing personality. I’m getting a new job and new location where I will not be able to spend anytime with him and be traveling a lot. He would be perfect for a family tbh. I’m a single guy and he’s really a family dog. He’d also love to have another dog companion. He’s also good with other dogs. Very trusting and just likes to play.
