We adopted Jet in 2008 from the Jacksonville Humane Society in Jacksonville, FL. She is now a senior dog and does not tolerate our other pets. We would like to place her in a home with no other pets. She is beautiful and funny (makes noises). She is potty trained and healthy. She seems to be going deaf. She does not want to share her pet parents with other dogs. She good with kids and adults. She gives a lot of kisses.

Story
Jackson is a fun loving, playful, sweet, smart, handsome boy. Especially smart. He is usually good with kids, but we just had an incident where he bit my toddler on the face while he was hugging him. A house without toddlers/small children would be ideal. Like many other dogs, he is also a trouble maker. He loves the taste of garbage so a trash can lock is a must. He also has the anxiety trait like many other GSDs. He’s scared of storms and will hide in the bathtub or run upstairs. He does not like going outside alone and will jump on windows after a few minutes of being outside alone. It pains me to have to do this, but we cannot keep him after the biting incident. He needs a family that will give him the attention and time he deserves.

Story
We got our lovely dog from a breeder when he was one year old and he is currently three years old. Unfortunately, we can’t take care of him due to my severe allergies. Because of his past, he gets very weary around strangers and will bark at them. But after spending time with him, he is the most affectionate dog you will ever see! What I am looking for is a home that understand that because of his past, his behavior is like this, and finds the patience, love, and training to help him socialize more with people and other dogs. He will be the type of that is super protective of the family. He needs someone who actually will wants him no matter what. He is the type of dog to be only sweet to the family, he only needs a chance. It would mean the world to him and my family if we could find a new home for him! But to have him you actually want to have him since he is extremely difficult with strangers until he get's used to them.

Story
Hi- I found this guy about a month ago and have been nursing him back to health. He was dragging a heavy chain, and a belt used as a collar that was on very tightly. He was underweight by about 25 lbs per my vet. He now has a proper collar and harness and is doing well. He loves to run and play ball. He is learning to walk on a leash. He seems to have all the traditional German Sheperd traits, very smart and alert. He is under 2 years old, not chipped, not yet neutered. He loves personal attention. I have a reactive dog, so I need to find this guy a loving home.
