Butch is an 85.4-lb playful powerhouse with lots of love to give! This big, sweet boy loves nothing more than a good game of fetch—he’ll happily chase a ball as long as you’re willing to throw it. Butch’s journey hasn’t been easy—he was found on his own at a truck stop—but despite his rough start, he’s remained a sweet, loving boy who’s ready for a fresh beginning in a forever home. Butch can be a little handling sensitive, so he’d do best in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries and understand his cues. He loves his toys and is not a fan of sharing. With gentle guidance and patience, he quickly shows just how affectionate and loving he is. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion who’s equal parts goofy and sweet, Butch is ready to join your family and bring endless joy to your days.

Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
