Story
Becca is a joyful, affectionate dog who absolutely adores her people. She's one of the best companions I've ever had. She is loyal, happy, and full of love. Her tail is always wagging, and she brings a smile to everyone she meets. She walks well on a leash when she knows you're in charge, but she can be a bit strong-willed if given the chance to lead. With a confident handler, she's a dream to walk. Due to a past incident where she was attacked by a small dog, Becca does not do well with small animals and would thrive in a home where she's the only pet. 💔 Why I am Rehoming Her It breaks my heart to say goodbye, but Becca needs more space than I can provide. She's not adjusting well to our small home and truly deserves a yard where she can run and play freely. This decision is made out of love and the desire to give her the life she deserves.

Story
Meet Laila Rose! Fostered in South Carolina  This stunning 2–3-year-old Dutch Shepherd is currently being fostered in South Carolina — and she’s ready to impress! #madloveLailaRose may have been picked up as a stray, but she clearly has some serious training under her belt (off leash heel, center heel, center heel into a downstay, sit, down, stay, and confidence on various surfaces). She’s housebroken, crate trained, and incredibly handler-focused. In fact, her crate is her happy place — she loves to settle in and relax when it’s time to unwind. She’s also great with other dogs and enjoys calm canine company.  Cats are untested, and small children have made her a bit nervous and on high alert, so a home with older kids or adults would likely be her best fit. Laila Rose rides beautifully in the car (you’d hardly know she’s back there!) and recently joined her foster for a trip to Tractor Supply where she was the picture of good behavior: neutral, well-mannered, and walking politely right next to the shopping cart.  And when it’s time for fun? !  She will fetch for as long as you’ll throw for her. Laila Rose is looking for a home that appreciates her remarkable self  All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription.  *********************************************************************** If you are interested in adopting this pet, please complete an application at this link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic.  *********************************************************************** MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Meet Jersey, Jersey is a 10 month old Dutch Shepherd from the suburbs of San Jose, California. She was found as a stray and sadly no one came forward for her. She began to shut down and become extremely stressed in her kennel. With shelter attempted introductions, Jersey was unable to prefomr at her best with meeting other dogs, she was not agressive but did not know how to handle meeting other dogs.  While we are still learning more about Jersey and who exactly she is, we do know she is going to require an active family with an experienced handler. *********************************************** To apply to adopt, please fill out the application by clicking on the Adopt button or ask for this dog to be added to your existing application. Story
Mayhem is a high drive (and high energy) Long Hair (some call him a stock coat) Dutch Shepherd. He is around a year old, but his previous life was extremely sheltered. When he first came into MAD he truely knew nothing. Everything was brand new and he was on sensory overload. Something as simple as a dove flying across the sky, a cat walking across the field, another dog barking, or even a stranger walking up to say hello was a threat that HE had to deal with. He would bark, growl, and lunge at the threat to make it all go away. A short 3.5 months later, with a some basic training, Mayhem is a different dog. When on leash he can walk past chickens running across the yard, inbetween the horses, and even greet the cat with a quick nose push. He loves to fetch a ball (or other toy) and drop it at your feet to have you throw it again (and again, and again). He loves to find "lost" items like his ball and bring it to you. He will also follow a scent trail that catches his interest to the very end to find the reward.  He would excel at several working dog jobs. All he needs is someone that is willing to put the time in to polish his basic training and keep adding on to it. He can still be reactive to other dogs when they get too close and act aggressive. However, once he gets to know the other dog he will play with them for hours and follow them all over the place. He plays like a very young puppy. In fact, in almost all instances Mayhem behaves like a puppy because he had no training or socialization before he came to MAD.  New people can be introduced fairly easily, especially if a wonderful food treat is given by the new friend. He loves his humans, but not recommended for young children as he really just doesn't realize how fast he can knock someone over.   What Mayhem is looking for is a human that can continue explain the world to him. He needs a strong and kind leader to tell him how to accomplish goals and show him just how amazing he can be. Someone to give him a job that will engage his very smart mind and agile body. It will take some dedication and time, but this dog is worth every minute! #madloveMayhem ##1995990##
