Hi, I'm JoJo! I'm a 2 year old Dutch Shepherd mix. I'm as loveable as can be and am such a good boy! I get along great with other dogs, walk okay on a leash, and am even potty-trained. I need a home without cats though as I like to chase them. I'm in a foster home and patiently waiting for my chance at a forever home.  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2684105##

Story
I rescued him off the side of the road at 6-8 weeks old was sure he was a lab mix and he has been great with other dogs, and loves water and being outside. He constantly tries to go after the cows and herd them he has a very specific herding stance he uses. Im in the process of starting a new job in Arkansas and dont have time to finish training him or spend with him. He needs a great home where he has a farm, or even lots of yard to run which I cant provide due to the cattle he tries to herd. He is leash and create trained as well. Loves treats, eats a lot on diamond naturals dog food. He will play fetch. He plays tug and he knows here crate crate trained. He knows Middle. He'll go behind you and go in between your legs and sit there. He'll watch people he loves going to the lake. Love's car rides baths. He's not a big fan of baths but he will handle them until you get the blower out to get the undercoat off of him.
