Hi I’m Lando! Lando is a 2 year old Husky/Malinois Mix. He’s energetic, loving and an expert at keeping your yard safe from squirrels and moles! He loves spending his days outside, running, lounging in the grass, or just sitting next to you on the porch. With lots of love and patience, he has come out of his shell and went from a pup scared of other dogs and men, to a socialized dog that loves to play and say hello to everyone. He is kennel trained and goes to his area happily. He plays well with other dogs, but takes a bit to warm up. He is wonderful with kids, and gets along great with cats as well. We feel he would do well with a family that owns some land so he can run around freely and explore. He’s a wonderful dog and we would love for him to go to a home where he can thrive. Meet Busta Rymes! His DOB is 12/14/2021 and he's a tan German Shepherd/Labrador mix that weighs in at 60lbs. Busta Rymes has a lot of energy and loves to romp and play. He would thrive in a home that can help him burn off some energy whether it be walks on a leash or playing ball (which he loves). Busta received training at a previous adopter and knows the commands sit, down, wait, place, and come. He is a wonderful dog, but he got returned to us because of a few incidents with some other dogs that were aggressive or on his property. His new family would need to be able to keep a close eye on him if another dog is around or if meeting a dog for the first time, Busta seems to be a bigger fan of females dogs. He does great with kids of all ages but we'd suggest him being with older kids since he is a high energy player.He is house and crate trained. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. The Haven of the Ozarks is open form 9am-4pm, seven days a week. Emmett is a handsome boy! His dob is 06/20/2017 and he's a brown and black Belgian Shepherd Malinois/American Bulldog mix. He was brought to us when his owners could no longer care for him. He has spent most of his life as a mostly-outdoor dog with other dogs, in a home where he suffered from a lot of separation anxiety. Unfortunately for Emmett, his people in the past have failed him. Emmett needs a person that's going to do right by him! He is motivated by affection and toys, but is very picky about his treats. He can be a little mischievous and likes to see what he can get away with, so he needs a firm leader who can spend a lot of time working with him. We have seen that he learns quickly with basic training. We think he could also learn by example with some well-mannered dog siblings. It has been observed that he rarely barks but he does loves to talk, but if he barks it's quiet and sort of raspy. Emmett is often found observing things going on around him. He does not get along with cats, chickens, or other small animals, as he has a decent amount of prey drive. He loves to follow his favorite people around and get scratches, being brushed, playing in water, and his favorite game is wrestling. He does seem to be house-trained, and does fine for short periods of time in a large kennel. All of our pets are fixed, up to date on their vaccinations, and microchipped. Sarge is a 5-year-old family dog who has been with us since we adopted him from a shelter at about 3 months old. He is a sweet, loving dog who becomes very attached to his people. He can be a little shy, but once he is comfortable, he is affectionate and happy to see the people he knows. He is friendly with adults and children and has never shown aggression toward people. He is house-trained, neutered, and up to date on his vaccinations. Sarge would do best in a home where he is the only pet. He does have a history of serious aggression toward other dogs, so he needs to be the only pet in his new home. Sarge can jump very high, so a home with a tall, secure privacy fence would be preferable to help keep him safely contained. He also currently has a skin issue/irritation that has not yet been evaluated or diagnosed by a veterinarian. I am looking for a responsible, experienced home where he can be the only pet and receive the care and attention he needs.

Meet our beautiful, high energy German Shepherd. She is an incredibly smart, independent girl who loves people and thrives on affection. Inside the house, she is a loyal, loving companion. She is great with kids and loves being around them, though she does try to herd children when they move around. She has never hurt a person or animal, lives happily with our pets, and has recently met new dogs with zero issues. Since having our baby, we simply do not have the time to give her the heavy exercise and attention she deserves. She is a working breed with an excitable, frenzied energy when amped up. She needs an active owner who will physically work with her. She has an intense prey drive outside. If she catches a small animal or if food is involved, she will loudly guard it from other dogs. She has never injured another animal, but will get into loud scuffles over her prize. Outside of food and prey, she is totally fine. She will thrive with an experienced handler with a secure yard.
