Rex is a lover of walks, bones and car rides. He is not a fan of being left alone. Rex is ok in a crate at night and when people are around. He, like anyone, needs to feel safe in his home before he is left alone for a while. It takes 3 weeks to 3 months for a dog to feel truly at home in a new space. Rex is curious when meeting new people, but warms up soon. He has lived with kids and other dogs. Rex is friendly with all but he is not a fan of sharing. Rex will need to have his toys and food in his own space...a prince in his own land to savor his time alone.

Story
Sarah is a sweet senior who came to us from an LA shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized the day we pulled her. She has had a lifetime of untreated ear infections that resulted in two surgeries, with one ear being removed completely. She is now deaf. Despite that, she is an affectionate, sweet and happy girl. She has had a couple of seizures in the past three months and since we are not familiar with her background, we do not know if this is a chronic condition. We are monitoring her though.
