Due to a sudden relocation to Hawaii, I am seeking to rehome my healthy, 11-year-old neutered male Dutch Shepherd, whom I have raised since puppyhood. He has absolutely no bite history and is exceptionally family-friendly, having spent his life alongside two young children (ages 4 and 5) and previously living harmoniously with a family Pug for nine years. He is laid-back, fully up-to-date on all vaccinations (as of May 2026), and has a very gentle, loving temperament.While wonderful with people, he has had limited recent exposure to outside dogs and can be cautious around them, meaning he would do best as an only pet or with a very calm companion. I have his complete veterinary records ready to share immediately and am happy to provide a sponsorship donation to assist the rescue with his care and transition.

Story
Sarah is a sweet senior who came to us from an LA shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized the day we pulled her. She has had a lifetime of untreated ear infections that resulted in two surgeries, with one ear being removed completely. She is now deaf. Despite that, she is an affectionate, sweet and happy girl. She has had a couple of seizures in the past three months and since we are not familiar with her background, we do not know if this is a chronic condition. We are monitoring her though. Roxy does great with male dogs, is selective with female dogs, is wonderful with children, and has lived peacefully with cats. She is being rehomed through no fault of her own. Her family is experiencing health and mobility challenges and can no longer provide the active lifestyle and attention she deserves.
