This sweet 5-year-old, Shepherd mix came to our rescue from a kill shelter while pregnant, and we're so grateful she found her way to us. Beverly Cleary is a gentle giant at 90 pounds, and she's eager to find a loving home where she can finally settle down and write her own happily ever after. Shepherds, like Beverly Clearly, are known for their intelligence and loyalty. They are active dogs that thrive with regular exercise and mental stimulation. While Beverly is a loving and affectionate girl who adores human companionship, she'll thrive with an experienced owner who can provide consistent training and guidance. With patience and positive reinforcement, she'll blossom into a wonderful companion. Although she's dog friendly, we think she would do best with male dog or a submissive calm female. She's potty and crate trained.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
