Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Hiccup This brave little guy is new to the rescue and already showing everyone what resilience looks like.At just 4–6 months old, this Dutch Shepherd puppy has been through more than most. Due to a severe infection, Hiccup had to have one of his back legs amputated—but don’t let that fool you… he’s already learning how to navigate the world on three and doing it like a champ.He’s currently safe in a loving foster home, resting and recovering from surgery yesterday. Right now, he needs time to heal, grow stronger, and just be a puppy again.Hiccup may be missing a leg, but he’s not missing any heart.
