Meet Gauge, a 3 year old, 72lb Dutch Shepherd mix! Gauge is that dream companion who glues himself to your side in the sweetest way. He’s tall, handsome, and goofy in all the right ways — a true Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be part of whatever you’re doing. Laundry? He’s supervising. Movie night? He’s on the couch before you are. Someone else is in your lap? No problem, Gauge will squeeze himself right in. 💕 He’s an affectionate, easygoing guy who reads the room well. Want a playmate? He’ll happily wrestle and romp with other dogs. Want a relaxed afternoon? He’ll chill out and chew a bone. His absolute favorite thing is sitting on the porch beside you, watching deer and squirrels like it’s his full-time job. 🦌🌿 Here’s what makes Gauge a total catch: ✔️ Fully crate trained ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Gentle taking treats ✔️ Comes when called ✔️ Dog-friendly ✔️ Medium/low energy ✔️ Great house manners (as long as snacks aren’t on the counter 👀) Gauge has such a big heart and truly wants his person. He’s polite in public, thoughtful with new dog friends, and always ready for belly rubs. He’d prefer a cat-free home, but otherwise he’s the easiest, most lovable buddy you could ask for.

Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! “When I first met Sasha, she was shaking uncontrollably and trying to make herself as small as possible. She broke my heart and I cried right there. Who made her feel this scared? After a little time she warmed up enough to let me put a bandana on her and take some cute pics. She has the sweetest face and the most soulful eyes. Even though she was stressed, she seemed comforted by having another dog nearby. When I checked on her later, she had gathered every toy in her kennel and curled up with them in her bed. She just wants to feel safe. She deserves a warm bed, a patient human, and all the toys her heart wants.”
