Story
Meet Freya! If you’re looking for a truly special companion who’s bursting with love and smarts, Freya just might be your dream dog! This unique and adorable girl has been patiently waiting since December 2022 for her perfect forever family—a home where she can give all the hugs and kisses her sweet little heart (and body!) can muster. With her cuddly personality and sharp intelligence, Freya is ready to fill your life with joy and endless snuggles. Freya’s not just a sweetheart—she’s also a clever learner who thrives on new challenges. She already knows how to “Sit,” “Down,” “Roll Over,” and gently take treats, and she’s eager to learn even more. Imagine all the tricks and fun games you could teach her with a little one-on-one training! She’s a quick study and a true star when it comes to obedience. When it comes to other dogs, Freya has had plenty of positive experiences here at the shelter. She’s developed a special preference for confident male companions who are cool with letting her be in charge—because this little lady loves to take the lead! A home with that perfect balance of fun and respect would be ideal for her. Freya would thrive in a moderately active home where she can romp around, play fetch, and keep both her mind and body moving. Because she tends to hold onto weight, it’s important she finds a family committed to keeping her at a healthy weight through regular exercise and proper care. Could you be the lucky person to give Freya the loving home she’s been dreaming of? Don’t wait—call the Ranch today and come meet this incredible girl who’s ready to steal your heart! Story
Lycan has been with us for 5 years, we got him as a puppy for $600 from a breeder in Klamath falls. He is pure bread Akbash on his dad's side all the way from Turkey. and German Shepherd on his mom's side from Belgium. He is not fixed and could be a good breeding dog if trained properly. We have been afraid to test him with other dogs, cats and people do to his aggressive barking. He will let people pet him but then barks a ton and it scares most. We are unable to take him for walks, to the dog park, the groomer refuses to see him because of his behavior, we also can't keep him inside anymore and we don't want him getting too hot or cold outside but we have nothing left we can do for him, he barks so much our neighbors keep calling the police, we tried treats and food but he refuses them. He won't take dog medication for his behavior, he just refuses everything. We have been told our only option might be to put him down but that breaks our hearts, he just needs the right home n person.
