Story
Cheech was abandoned in my yard as a sick puppy and I had no choice but to care for him. I was unable to find him a home and so I kept him knowing I was in no place to adopt a dog. Cheech is almost two years old now and life has only gotten harder in the time since I've had him, I did not set out to adopt a dog because I don't currently have the time or money to properly care for one. He is not neutered; I rescheduled the procedure 3 times because I could not afford it financially and had no one to check in on him while I am at work. I will soon be giving up my house for a small apartment. I haven't been able to provide him with the time and energy he needs from me and that is only becoming more difficult. He has developed a jealousy towards my children and is starting to show concerning signs of aggression, it appears to be due to him not getting enough one-on-one time, something I cannot provide. He needs a new home and the care he deserves before his behavioral issues worsen.

Story
Hank is a 4 year-old purebred long-haired German Shepherd. I purchased Hank in December of 2022 from a family friend. Hank is up to date on all vaccinations and immunizations. He is fixed. Other than that there have been no major medical complications. Hank currently lives in a house with two cats and two small children. He is great with kids and loves playing with them. While annoying to the cats, Hank is really good with them and in just usually interested most of the time. Hank is an amazing guard dog and will let you know if any strangers come to the door. Other than that he doesn’t bark much. Hank is great with other dogs and has spent time at a boarding facility when we’ve taken trips. I can provide references from them about his comparability with other dogs if requested. Hank can sit and stay but otherwise isn’t trained up much. He is very well potty-trained. Hank has been an amazing dog for our family but unfortunately we cannot keep him due to relocation.

Story
We acquired Pearl from a private breeder at eight weeks old. Knowing that a white shepherd will never be an AKC recognized dog, she was not as expensive as a pure bred shepherd, but she is definitely a gentler breed. Pearl is a beautiful dog, inside and out. She is shy at first, but loves to be with her peeps. She is young and fun and I believe she would live her happiest life with an easy-going companion dog and a gentle but firm owner. She stays close to us when we are outside and wanders little. I have trained her to come to my call/whistle. She will sit and stay at our command and a "cookie" is her reward. Pearl will not be the strongest watch dog, however, she will let you know if something is amiss and/or she will follow the lead of whoever is "in charge." Pearl has spent her first four years on a five-acre farm and loves to run!

Story
Meet Timeless Teto — a one-of-a-kind shepherd with a whole lot of heart! If you're looking for a loyal, energetic, and goofy companion who thrives on play, Teto might just be your perfect match! This handsome guy is bursting with personality and looking for a dog-savvy home that understands how to respect his boundaries and meet him where he's at emotionally and physically. Teto is a toy connoisseur—he absolutely lives for toys! Squeaky, bouncy, chewy—you name it, he wants it. Providing him with a good variety of toys is a surefire way to keep this clever pup happy and mentally enriched. He also plays well with other dogs when introduced in the right environment. While he may prefer having his own space at home, he’s proven to be a polite and fun playmate with the right canine pals. That said, Teto isn’t the type of dog who enjoys crowded spaces or chaotic environments. Loud, bustling settings just aren't his thing. He’s much more comfortable and confident when he has room to breathe and time to adjust. Because of this, he may be happiest in a home where he can live primarily outdoors—especially if you’ve got a secure yard, open land, or a more rural property where he can stretch his legs, chase his toys, and enjoy life at his own pace. Teto is looking for a special person or family—someone experienced with a variety of dog personalities and confident in giving him the space, structure, and patience he needs to thrive. Once he bonds with you, he’s all in—and that bond will be deep, rewarding, and full of joy. Ready to meet your loyal shadow, fetch partner, and best friend? Call the Ranch to meet Teto today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       July 17, 2026, 10:15 pm

Story
Meet Yeti Yeti is a sweet, energetic German Shepherd with a heart as big as her paws. She’s leash-trained and potty-trained, so she already knows the rules and follows them like a good girl. Yeti truly shines as an inside dog—she loves being close to her people, lounging comfortably, and soaking up all the love. That said, she’s still got that playful spark! Yeti enjoys getting her exercise outside, whether it’s a walk, some playtime, or stretching her legs before heading back in to relax. One sure way to win her over? Chewy treats—they’re her absolute favorite. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who balances energy with calm indoor manners, Yeti is ready to be your new best friend       All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       July 17, 2026, 10:15 pm

Story
Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.
