Story
Meet Sabrina – A Quiet, Thoughtful Soul Looking for a Patient Home Sabrina has had a challenging start in life. She was displaced by a fire as a young pup and spent a couple of years in a home before coming to the Ranch. These experiences have shaped her into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who needs a calm, steady environment to feel safe. At first, Sabrina can be shy and cautious, taking her time to build trust with new people. Once that bond is formed, however, she becomes deeply loyal and affectionate. She thrives in calm, confident households where her humans understand that gentle encouragement and patience are key. Sabrina enjoys the company of other dogs, especially smaller, confident pups who help her feel secure, and she has shown she can coexist peacefully with cats. She’s happiest with quiet routines, gentle play, and slow introductions to new experiences. This intelligent girl already knows Sit and has excellent leash manners, making walks manageable—but she appreciates a calm pace and isn’t ready for high-energy environments or overly busy homes. She delights in toys and quiet play, and she enjoys snuggling with her humans once she feels safe. Sabrina is not a dog for an outgoing, fast-paced household. She needs someone patient, understanding, and committed to giving her the time she needs to feel secure. With the right slow, loving home, Sabrina will reward her family with gentle companionship, loyalty, and quiet affection. Ready to meet this thoughtful, sensitive girl? Call the Ranch today to see if Sabrina is the perfect fit for your calm and patient home. Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.  All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       June 14, 2026, 6:39 pm

Meet Cash - Your New Best Friend (and Possibly Personal Trainer) Hi there, I'm Cash - a one-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a heart full of love, legs full of energy, and a nose for adventure (and snacks). I may have started life as a stray, but I'm ready to trade my wandering ways for belly rubs, squeaky toys, and a couch to call my own.  I'm the full package:  - Playful - I love wrestling and romping with my doggy pals - Active - Need a hiking buddy? Running pal? Backyard zoomie partner? I'm your guy.  - Affectionate - I give world-class cuddles. You've been warned.  - Friendly - I love people and know how to be gentle with children.  - Smart - I would thrive with someone who wants to keep my brain busy.  Also... did I mention I LOVE to swim? Got a pool, pond, or hose? Let's go.  I'm looking for a home that understands my energy, gives me room to run, and most importantly, gives me love. Bonus points if you've got a playful pup sister waiting for me!  Do I sound like your perfect boy? Call the Ranch to come meet me today!   Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Meet 'Miss' Kay - A Mamma Dog with a Heart Made of Gold  Miss Kay is the kind of dog who looks at you with eyes that say, "Thank you." Every. Single. Day. After surviving on her own with three babies to care for, Miss Kay has stepped out of survival mode into her true self - a gentle, oversized lap dog who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.  She's cuddly, soft-hearted, and sweetly submissive, often leaning into her trusted humans for affection or wrapping her front paws around you in what can only be described as a true hug. Her love is quiet but deep - the kind of connection that grows stronger with every passing day.  Her favorite things: - Playing with extra-large male dog friends. - Lounging with her people and soaking up attention - Quiet companionship, soft toys, and calm surroundings Miss Kay thrives in a peaceful home with adults or older children, and would love a securely fenced yard to explore. She's best suited for dog-savvy owners who can offer her patience, gentleness, and the steady kind of love she's waited so long for. She raised her babies the best that she could, and now it's time for her to be someone's baby.  If you've got a calm space, a warm heart, and a little room on the couch - she'll fill it with loyalty, love, and the sweetest hugs you've ever had.  Read Kay's Dog of the Week post here:  https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-kay/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. Story
Lycan has been with us for 5 years, we got him as a puppy for $600 from a breeder in Klamath falls. He is pure bread Akbash on his dad's side all the way from Turkey. and German Shepherd on his mom's side from Belgium. He is not fixed and could be a good breeding dog if trained properly. We have been afraid to test him with other dogs, cats and people do to his aggressive barking. He will let people pet him but then barks a ton and it scares most. We are unable to take him for walks, to the dog park, the groomer refuses to see him because of his behavior, we also can't keep him inside anymore and we don't want him getting too hot or cold outside but we have nothing left we can do for him, he barks so much our neighbors keep calling the police, we tried treats and food but he refuses them. He won't take dog medication for his behavior, he just refuses everything. We have been told our only option might be to put him down but that breaks our hearts, he just needs the right home n person.
