Story
Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies i had when I arrived at the rescue... I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so so ready for you, I have the shepherd double coat so I will shed in your house, must have a great vacuum cleaner and tolerance of hair :) Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi there! I'm Louise! I was found as a stray, and brought to the shelter hoping my family would come to take me home. I was sad when they never came. The people here at the shelter say that they're going to find me a new family now. I sure do hope they come to adopt me soon! I enjoy going for walks, and I crave all the love and cuddles I can get! I'm hoping to find a new home where I can be the only pet. That way I can be extra spoiled! I'm already up to date on vaccinations, spayed and I also have a microchip. All I'm missing now is my special someone who I will love unconditionally forever and ever!

Story
Meet adoptable Koda!At around 3–5 years old, Koda is a one of a kind mix of German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Husky, and Great Pyrenees. That may sound like a lot of dog, and he certainly is a big guy, but underneath that impressive mix is an incredibly gentle, loyal, sensitive, and loving soul.Koda seems to have collected some of the very best qualities from every breed in his family tree. From his German Shepherd side, Koda is intelligent, inquisitive, eager to please, and highly trainable. He already knows how to sit, stay, give both paws, and lay down! From his Golden Retriever side comes his love language: PROXIMITY. Koda does not need constant attention or to be the center of the room. He is perfectly content sitting beside you on the couch, relaxing at your feet, or laying at the foot of your bed. From his Husky side comes his love of adventure! Koda enjoys going for walks, sniffing around the neighborhood, and exploring everything the world has to offer. He has a little bit of the Husky vocal personality, too. From his Great Pyrenees side comes his patience and gentle nature. Koda enjoys taking in his surroundings and can often be found perched on an ottoman, quietly watching the world go by.Koda is not a couch potato. He is a high-energy guardian/working dog mix who needs a family willing to give him plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and enrichment. If you take Koda on a walk, keep an eye out for deer and rabbits! 👀His instincts definitely kick in when he spots something interesting.Koda may be a big dog with a big personality, but his heart is even bigger. 💙If you have room in your life for a gentle giant who wants to walk beside you, learn with you, relax beside you, and become your loyal companion, Koda is waiting to meet you. 🐾📍 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049📧 adoptions@animalprotectors.net📞 (724) 339-7388 #AdoptKoda #adoptdontshop #newkensington #animalprotectors #pittsburgh #AdoptableDogs

Story
Meet adoptable Ellie!💕At 5 years old, Ellie is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. This sweet girl may not be the first to run up and greet you, but sometimes the most special connections are the ones that take a little extra time to build. 🥹🩷Ellie can be shy around new people and unfamiliar experiences, so she needs a family willing to be patient and let her adjust at her own pace. She may need a little time to feel comfortable, but with kindness and understanding, she has the opportunity to show you the loving girl hiding beneath that cautious exterior.🐶 Ellie likes other dogs! She can be a little unsure when meeting new canine friends, so slow, patient introductions are important. We are not sure how she would do with cats, but we know she deserves a family willing to help her feel safe and comfortable as she settles into her new life. And don't let her shy side fool you! 😂💕 Ellie is VERY vocal and is not afraid to share her thoughts. She has a personality all her own, and once you get to know her, you will discover that she has plenty to say!Ellie is looking for someone who understands that every dog has their own timeline. She does not need to be rushed or expected to feel comfortable right away. She needs someone who will celebrate the little victories, give her reassurance when things feel scary, and remind her every day that she is loved.Imagine being the person Ellie finally feels safe enough to trust. Imagine watching her confidence grow and seeing her personality shine more and more as she realizes she is home. Those little moments will make all the patience worthwhile. 💗💕 Could you be Ellie's safe place? If you have a patient heart and a loving home, this special girl would love the opportunity to meet you!📍 730 Church Street, New Kensington, PA📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/213275062626049📧 adoptions@animalprotectors.net📞 (724) 339-7388#AdoptEllie #AdoptableDogs #pittsburgh #NewKensington #AnimalProtectorsOfAlleghenyValley #animalprotectors #adoptdontshop
