She’s the kind of dog who is always ready to go do something fun—and then happily settle in beside you when the day is done. ❤️. Hazel currently lives with another large dog and does okay, but we think she would do best as an only dog Hazel is looking for someone who will appreciate her fun-loving, energetic personality and give her opportunities to run, explore, play, ride along, and be part of the family. If you're the type of person who says, “Want to go for a hike?” instead of “Want to stay home?”—Hazel may be your girl! 🥾🐾❤️ Hazel can be very excited when her person comes home, but the good news is that she settles down quickly. Because of that enthusiasm, she may be a little too exuberant for very young or small children and could accidentally knock them over. Hazel is ready to find her forever adventure partner! 🏡💗 She is a very amazing dog but cats and small animals are a big no for Hazel. 🏡 House-trained and trustworthy when left loose in the house 🛋️ Doesn’t tear things up when left alone during the day 🛏️ Would happily sleep with her person 🎾 LOVES playing with balls 🚗 LOVES going for rides 🥾 Would absolutely love a hike or outdoor adventure with an active person 🧠 Smart and eager to be involved 😍 Loves everyone—she definitely does NOT meet a stranger! Adoptions take place at the North Fayette PetSmart in Robinson Township. A little bit about us:  We are a Mississippi-based rescue dedicated to saving dogs and cats who might otherwise never have the opportunity.  Every month, we transport animals to this PetSmart. We have an amazing partnership with them!  Our cats and kittens stay at the adoption center there and are available for local adoption. But these puppies are not just pretty faces—they are typical Malinois/German Shepherd-type puppies with the intelligence, drive, energy, and intensity that come with these breeds. At just 10 weeks old, they are still small, but they are expected to grow into 50+ pound adult dogs. And they are already showing us exactly who they are: • Mouthy and nippy – they are puppies and are still learning appropriate behavior • High-energy with plenty of squealing, bouncing, and puppy craziness • Tenacious – they don't give up easily • Extremely smart and quick to learn • Driven and intense • Curious, active, and ready for a job, training, and adventure These puppies are NOT apartment dogs. They also are not a good match for homes with young children, primarily because of their natural puppy nipping and intensity. They need owners who understand that raising a Malinois/German Shepherd-type dog requires being intentional from day one with training, structure, boundaries, exercise, and mental stimulation. I am a great boy and would LOVE a busy family to do fun stuff with then to just hang out relaxing with. I came to the rescue so long ago that all my family has been adopted and I'm still waiting ................... My rescue friends and can't figure out why. I'm a smart, friendly, happy and busy boy.
