Now, hold me tighter!” *Health* Leah has hip issues, meaning she struts her stuff a little differently. But don’t let that fool you! Even with her medical needs, Leah is worth every ounce of love and care. Our rescue will consult with an orthopedic specialist to create a game plan for her future, and she’s on a daily regimen of supplements and pain meds (only when needed). Yahtzee #26026; female; mixed breed. Estimated age 1 year; approximate weight 50#. Heartworm Negative. Spayed and up-to-date on shots. This beautiful dark brindle girl was found starving on the side of the highway when a trucker picked her up. He had her vetted and back to a healthy weight and planned to keep her. Life plans changed and he found himself in need of lengthy medical treatment and a long hospital stay. Living alone, he had no choice but to surrender her. For almost two months she was in a home environment and riding shotgun in a truck. During her time with the finder she played with a 4 year old child. She was not exposed to dogs but did live with a cat. She is housebroken and walks well on leash. At the shelter she plays with her roomie, Copper.

She loves everyone she meets but her favorite is a Man. She loves men a whole lot. One thing about her that makes her unique she is missing toes on one foot. Couldn't tell you what happened to them, but I do know that it doesn't affect her in any way. Bailie is next in line for being spayed but is up to date on vaccines and she is heartworm negative. This sweet girl is ready to find her forever home
