Story
True to his name, King Tut is the most regal of Dutch Shepherds—handsome, dignified, and full of heart. At 3 years old, he’s the perfect blend of maturity and playfulness, and he’s a genuine bestie-in-waiting just hoping to be chosen by his forever family. King Tut has great manners and is incredibly loyal once you’ve earned his trust. He’s had a tough start to life, but his resilience and progress are nothing short of amazing. He’s nearly finished with his heartworm treatment, which is the final step before he’s ready to head home with his forever people. He does well with other dogs, absolutely adores people, and lights up every room with his magnificent brindle coat and his huge, goofy grin—especially when the sunlight hits just right. If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a powerful spirit, a soft heart, and a smile that will steal yours, King Tut is ready to take his place as the king of your home. 🐾❤️

Story
Updated 1May25 **🐾 Meet Leah: The Queen of Cuddles!** *Origin Story* Leah's adventure began when her mom was rescued, revealing a whole litter of love! Born into the foster system, Leah and her siblings entered the world ready to take on life one cuddle at a time. From day one, it was clear that Leah was destined to be the star of the show! *Personality* Leah is the ultimate love bug! This cuddle monster wants nothing more than to be held by her foster dad—seriously, if you don’t pick her up, she might just give you the puppy eyes that could melt glaciers! While she enjoys running and playing with her rowdy siblings, she’ll always come back demanding to be scooped up. She’s quite the chatterbox while being held, happily expressing, “I’m happy! Now, hold me tighter!” *Health* Leah has hip issues, meaning she struts her stuff a little differently. But don’t let that fool you! Even with her medical needs, Leah is worth every ounce of love and care. Our rescue will consult with an orthopedic specialist to create a game plan for her future, and she’s on a daily regimen of supplements and pain meds (only when needed). Leah is feeling snazzy and ready to conquer the world one cuddle at a time! *Forever Foster or Adoption* Leah is seeking her forever foster or a special family that can shower her with love and devotion. The rescue will handle all her vetting and potential surgery, so you can focus on what truly matters: endless cuddles and belly rubs! *Why Leah?* Because every big baby deserves a family that understands her need for love, devotion, and a few extra cuddle sessions! Leah may have medical issues, but she is truly a perfect puppy who brings joy and warmth to everyone around her. If you’re ready to welcome a charming, cuddly companion into your home, Leah is just the girl you’ve been waiting for!

Story
Cookie was abandoned by his homeless owner and left on the street. A neighborhood BYB picked him up. He was kept out in a small 4 foot pen and never allowed out. Cookie was heartworm positive. I assisted with his rescue and several other dogs on the property after reporting the person for her illegal operations. Cookie received heartworm treatment and is free from heartworms now. He's neutered and trained to do tricks for treats. Great dog, housebroken, loving and friendly to other dogs. I let him play with all my new Intakes. Great for a older gentleman who is retired and likes to go for walks. Cookie can also hike the trails with young females. He's very versatile.

Good with dogs,
Story
Merry likes to be part of a pack and looks to the other dogs for guidance and reassurance. She is wary of new people but once she gets to know a person, she is very friendly. She is crate and house trained. She sleeps and eats in her crate. She knows a few basic commands. Walks on a leash but only in the backyard as is to scared to leave the house. She does go to doggie day care once a week and does very well. She would be best with someone who has German Shepherd experience or who has previously worked with a rescue dog. She needs to be with another friendly dog to feel secure. Excess barking or loud noises scare her. Also you need a tall fence or a secure kennel as she can jump.
