Story
Apollo is a sweet brindle sugar-faced fella. This very handsome boy looks ot be a Dutch Shepherd mix. He's very friendly but can be selective with his choices of doggie friends. He's about 8 years old and weighs about 71 pounds. He still has lots of spunk and life left and gets bouncy, much like a kangaroo, and playful during outings with the staff and volunteers! *Male, *Dutch Shepherd mix, *8 years old, *71 pounds My adoption fee is now only $25 and includes; Spay/Neuter, DHPP and Rabies and Bordetella Vaccinations (age appropriate), Dewormed, Microchipped, Heartworm Tested and Flea Treated (if needed). This pooch is located in Oak Ridge, TN. Story
See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer * Update Feb. 7, 2024: Georgia is in a new foster home and has lost weight. She looks so gorgeous!! We still have not had her around cats or small children, but we do believe she would be o.k. in a home with a friendly canine companion. Georgia's owner recently passed away, and now she needs to find her new forever home. She is a very loyal companion who was by her owner's side until the end. Georgia appears to be a purebred German shepherd; she is about 6 years old, house-trained, spayed, and current on vaccines. She had a 3-year-rabies vaccine in 2022, so it is good until 2025. She has lived with another dog before, and we think she could get along with an older or mellow dog. We do not know whether or not she has been around cats or children. Please help find this precious girl her new forever home! Call Debbie at 865-321-0544. [Updated 2/7/2024] *Please be aware that this animal is a courtesy posting for the owner ONLY. Story
Reese is an energetic and loving dog who loves fetch and playing in water! Reese is crate trained and potty trained. She can sit, spin, wait, lay down, go crate, and has a great recall. She learns really fast where she is allowed to go, and we allow her to be off leash now that she knows. She listens very well. She could do better with leash walking, as she continues to try to pull. Reese does a great job using her nose lead though! If you are looking for a trained young dog, she is your gal! She loves all people, and is wary of other dogs but warms up very quickly. She loves my 1.5 year old, but she has too much energy to play appropriately. We adopted Reese when she was 9 weeks old, and she has been a wonderful and loving dog. She has never been mistreated, and she is very submissive.
