He was even caught once by animal control — but jumped the fence and ran back to one of his “safe spots.” That’s how strong his survival instincts were. It ultimately took a professional darter and a committed village to bring him to safety. And now? You wouldn’t even recognize him. This is the same dog. Doesn’t try to escape his foster’s yard Stays close and checks in Loves toys (especially BALLS ) Obsessed with playing fetch Knows sit & stay Recall is improving (rabbits and balls are VERY exciting ) Potty trained Crate trained Leash trained Dog friendly (all sizes!)
