Story
Hi all! The name is Janis Hoplin. I got this name because I was born without a bone in one of my front legs; however, I won't EVER let that slow me down! I am full speed ahead all the time with all the puppy energy you can imagine. I have had surgery to help try to straighten out my front leg as best they can; however, I will most likely need a doggie prosthetic or brace to help with balance and function. I love playing with my 65 lb foster brother, but when he has had enough, I can often entertain myself sometimes with the wrong things. As a puppy, I will need constant guidance and redirection to keep me out of mischief. My ideal furever home would have a doggie playmate that could match my energy or a SUPER active household that can both wear out my body and my BIG BRAIN. Without lots of mental and physical stimulation, I will be BORED, and because I am so smart, I will find my own things to do. I am fully potty and crate trained. My foster mama taught me that my crate is a cool place to be! I am also working on my leash walking skills, but it's just so hard when everything is so exciting! I like to chew, but I will listen when redirected to the correct items. A dog is a big commitment, and a dog with any special need is a bigger commitment. DO you have the time and space in your heart and home to commit to me? I promise it will be worth it! Janis is a Dutch Shepherd mix with an estimated date of birth of 2/15/23 and weighed 30 lbs (as of 7/24).

Story
I was left in front of an abandoned store to fend for myself. My luck changed, however, when some kind humans got me to safety. I am a young and active guy. I would love a doggie friend or even a jogger to take me out. I do know a few commands, am in excellent health, and can't wait to find my forever family. I have not met cats yet.

Mia is a graceful blend of elegance and athleticism, wrapped up in a demeanor that's as calm as it is captivating. Shy and bashful at first glance, Mia embodies the essence of a gentle spirit taking her time to reveal the depth of her affection and bravery. Once she warms up, the transformation is heartwarming—a friendly, sweet soul emerges, ready to connect and share her love. Mia's athletic prowess is evident in her love for sunbathing, running, and playful antics with other dogs. Her elegance is not just in her physical appearance but in the way she carries herself; calm and composed, yet ready to spring into joyful activity at a moment's notice. Despite her initial reserve, Mia is fantastic with other dogs, showcasing her ability to socialize and form friendships that bring out her best self. Not only is Mia house trained, ensuring a smooth integration into her new home, but her love for the outdoors makes her the perfect companion for adventures in the sun. Whether it's a quiet day lounging in the warmth or an active play session with furry friends, Mia finds joy in the simple pleasures of life. Adopting Mia means welcoming a soul into your home who may need a little extra patience and gentle encouragement at first. But the reward is immeasurable—a loyal, loving companion who embodies grace and kindness. Mia is waiting for someone who understands the beauty of a slow bloom, ready to offer her a forever home where she can thrive, share her sweet nature, and live happily in the company of those who cherish her. If you're looking for a dog who will enrich your life with gentle affection, elegance, and a dash of playful energy, Mia is the one for you. Her journey to find a loving home could very well begin with you, unfolding into a beautiful story of companionship and mutual respect. ##1981085##

RUSTY Red Forest Rabbit aka "RUSTY" is a male GSD Mix,  Rusty is 62 lbs, vaccinated, has completed heartworm treatment, neutered and microchipped    Rusty was found dumped in the woods with his friend Rascal (also available for adoption).  When Rusty was rescued, he was taken directly to the vet and into surgery to have his embedded collar removed from his neck.  Despite his tough beginning, Rusty has continued to amaze his foster with his loving but shy personality.  Rusty continues to build his confidence and gets along with dogs of all sizes.  He is active and playful, but still reserved. He does not like loud noises or quick movements and is not a fan of leash walking- he prefers to run around in the backyard. With more positive reinforcement and exposure to social situation’s, he would likely get used to that. Rusty is housebroken and crate trained. We do not put a bed or blanket in his crate as he tends to rip them up, but outside of the crate he likes to lay on the couch and chill with a toy.   His favorite time of day is breakfast and dinner.   Rusty would love to be adopted by a calm and caring family with another dog friend to play with.  ##1530845##
