Story
Mannie’s story starts in the middle of chaos—he was brought in as a stray during the fires, and sadly, no one ever came looking for him. Now, this sweet boy is left trying to figure out a whole new world, and all he really wants… is someone to notice him. We believe Mannie is around 3 years old and possibly a Dutch Shepherd mix. He’s playful, social, and full of life—but also full of BIG feelings. Shelter life has been tough on him. When people walk by his kennel without stopping, he gets loud and rowdy, barking and bouncing just to say, “Hey! Don’t forget about me!” We know that can be a little intimidating—but here’s the part most people miss: the second Mannie sees a leash, everything changes. He settles down, waits patiently, and becomes an absolute gentleman. Out of the kennel, he’s a sweet, eager boy who just wants your attention. He is strong and may pull on leash, but with a little guidance, he’ll thrive. With no known history, we’re learning about Mannie as we go. He seems to do well with other dogs, though we don’t test with cats, and he hasn’t yet met children in our care. After everything he’s been through, Mannie is still holding onto hope—just waiting for someone to give him a real chance. Could that someone be you? 🐶❤️

This gentle giant is very curious of feline friends so he would do best in a home without kitties!Health & Care:Neutered and up to date on all vaccinationsHouse-ready and fine in a walk-in kennel when neededIf you’re looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving dog who will bring endless joy and laughter into your life, The Captain is your guy. Story
Azula is a loving attentive 5yr old german shepherd. She will be your personal shadow. She loves her ball and fetch at the park. She is the only dog I've know that likes to be tucked in at night. She loves to always be close to her people. She is getting a little older so shes not crazy, but she would need frequent walks. She enjoys going for walks, and chewing on her ball. Azulas ideal home would be where she is the only pet in the house. With someone who has experience with the breed and can keep up with her training. She can be anxious in crowded spaces. She needs slow introduction to other animals. She gets anxious around small children. She will be best suited in a home with a decent sized yard or someone who is active. She has slight separation anxiety, so someone who works from home or is home often would be the best case for her. Azula is house trained and understands, sit, wait, down, here, shake and is very food motivated.
