Born in November 2021, Betty White is an athlete in a compact, 45 lb. body. Betty is a free spirit who continually wants to explore and test her limits. Sniff spot outings and agility jumps are a favorite activity for her – and if she has a buddy dog to join her in the adventures, all the better! She’s a happy, playful terrier mix who loves her human and dog companions with the same gusto she exhibits for activity. Betty plays nicely with her foster dog siblings and gets along great with children. She loves to chase, so a cat free home would be best for Betty.  A peek at Betty White’s DNA results helps to explain her natural athletic abilities. She is 46% American Pit Bull Terrier and 25% German Shepherd Dog so being active and wanting to move is in her genes. Naturally eager to learn, Betty has excelled at obedience training. Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days. Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!). Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process. Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family. (The process may differ slightly for long distance adopters.) Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time. Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member! Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process. Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs one year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course. Say hello to Junior!  He is incredibly sweet and smart.  This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he opens up you will feel all the love he has to give.  Junior has learned a few tricks and if you have a yummy treat he will be glad to show them to you.  Our adorable boy is also crate traned (not his favorite place as he loves to be part of the action, but will sleep very well in it).  This smart boy is also leash train and does very well in the car.  He will be an incredible fit for any family.    Why adopt from Texas? This adorable boy is the heart and soul of every party, instantly making friends with everyone he meets, whether they have fur or not. From dogs to cats, M&M sees everyone as a new buddy. Luna is a sweet girl who loves walk, lakes, ball, and treats. She is about 5 years old and needs a home where she can get one on one attention. We recently had a baby and no longer have as much time to give her the attention she deserves. She will be your best friend and shadow. Day to day she naps, sunbaths, has access to a backyard and goes on an occasional wake. She will come with a collars, leashes, what’s left of her food in a storage container, a few toys, bowls, and treats, crate, dog bed.

Pearl is a friendly and striking black German Shepherd Dog with bright orange eyes and a great smile. She has an estimated birthdate of 01/22/2019. She came to Murci's Mission as an owner surrender because she is not safe around poultry and livestock.  Pearl is turn key ready so to speak, being friendly with dogs, cats and kids, as well as reliable loose in the house. She knows basic commands and walks nicely on lead. Pearl would love a family where she can be active and stay included in the day to day activities, but she is not a high needs dog and can be patient if she cannot have individualized exercise time on a daily basis. She has high food drive and loves playing fetch. She would make for a great casual sport dog and or hiking companion after some initial weight loss.  Pearl will need regimented feedings as she is currently about 15-20lbs overweight and it is impacting her mobility, but she is otherwise healthy and ready to rebound into a body more fit and capable of activity.  Pearl comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a sample of the food she's been eating, her leash, collar, and ID tag, plus her medical records. Murphy was born Dec 5, 2023 and is 7 months old. Murphy loves car rides & balls! He's a sweet boy who is excited about life every day! Murphy will need an experienced owner because he's still working on manners. He's wonderful with big dogs but shouldn't live with small dogs. Currently, he's working on confidence during meal times as he resource guards kibble with other dogs. He is house trained and crate trained. He's truly a wonderful guy and will make a great companion. He has not lived with or been tested with children. He understands yes and no, makes eye contact, and is eager to learn more. Murphy is up to date on all his vaccinations and has been neutered.

Penny Ann is the sweetest, funniest dog you'll meet. For being a German shepherd, she is smaller yet she makes up for it in her big personality. Penny Ann loves fetch, spending time at the lake, walks, and naps. I acquired her from a friend of a friend who could no longer take care of her and was too aggressive with her. She is currently about 3 years. Penny Ann needs a home that will be able to keep up with her energy while catering into her softer side.

Xena is a loving shepard who has been apart of our family since she's been a puppy. We have had her for roughly 6-8 years. As my parents have got older, they are unable to properly care for her. She is a loving dog, and we have never had any behavioral issues. She does great around children, and loves to be by whoever she is with. She has been around other dogs she's grown up with, however, it is unknown as to whether or not she would get along with new dogs. No health issues that we are aware of, but will more than likely need updated shots. She would be perfect for someone who already doesn't have any other animals and who is willing to take the time to properly exercise her and give her attention. She is currently living in 15 acres, and like any dog, needs room to run or to be taken out. She would be a great family dog, as she is used to being around little kids and larger groups of people!

Kaz will be 2 on September 9th. My elderly Mother-in-law has moved from the country to the city and Kaz needs room to run. He is very strong and energetic. We are willing to negotiate on the adoption fee! We just need to find him a good new home. We don’t want to have to put him down!
