Meet the beautiful Chantele! She is a very friendly and outgoing gal. She does well with other dogs, both big and small. She's been around children and does well with them too. She wanted to growl and chase the cats when we introduced her, so it's probably best she goes to a cat-free home. Meet Theo, This gorgeous lab mix is available for adoption! Theo is a shy boy and takes his time warming up to people. Once he settles in, he loves to stick close to people and get sweet head pats. You can tell that he is a gentle and good boy. Theo's looking for a home that will love him. He is good with dogs and cats, and trusted to come out of a crate when he is home alone. Theo really loves his mom in his house, and she is his favorite person. He loves to carry around his chew toys and balls to show off his great toys. He matches the energy well in the house with the other dog he lives with, an energetic Aussie. The Aussie encourages him to run around and play, and he encourages her to take long naps! *** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Bulbasaur! He is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is just about ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'wave', 'down' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Bulbasaur, or as his friends call him, Bulbs is the life of the party! He loves every adult he has met and bonds to his people very quickly. He does fine with other dogs but would prefer they are not super hyper and in his face all the time. He does well in his kennel and is house trained. We don't have history of him with cats, but when he met them here, he seemed pretty scared of them. If you have cats, we can always reintroduce him to them. In a previous home, Bulbs did not like the child. He cannot go home to a family with kids under 10 years old. Bulbasaur's love language is touch and he'd love nothing more to start the fall season and go into the holidays with a new family. He will be ready towards the end of October for his new beginning.
