A 2-year-old, 36-pound mix of Feist and Terrier, Lulu came to us from a hoarding situation. She's a lovely dog with a sweet personality who, upon first meeting can be shy, but will warm up quickly. She loves being stroked and loved; in fact, she's very affectionate. We think she's grateful that we brought her into rescue with us. She's been treated for heartworm and is ready to go home with you! How about it? Show her what a real home is like! (posted 12/29/25, ME) NO CATS, PLEASE. Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. Meet Chloe! Chloe is a 6-year-old Chihuahua mix and the ultimate snuggle bug. She’s perfectly house trained, loves riding in the car, and happily uses a doggie door. Chloe enjoys the company of other dogs and is great with kids. At night, she prefers sleeping in the bedroom on a soft pillow and loves being close to her people—she’s happiest when she’s cuddled up nearby. Chloe walks well on a leash and enjoys spending time outside. She’s not a big fan of being crated, though she does prefer to eat her meals in her crate. Chloe is an 11-year-old mixed breed sweetheart weighing in at about 20 pounds — small in size but big in personality. She’s confident, sassy, and knows exactly what she wants out of life (mostly your lap and your love). Chloe would do best as an only pet, not because she dislikes others, but because she prefers to be the center of attention. She’s fine around calm dogs but can get a little bossy — it’s the tiny queen in her shining through. This lovely girl is up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. In 2021, she had bladder stone removal surgery and has been doing great ever since. She now eats a special diet that helps prevent stones from coming back. It makes her drink more water, so she needs a few extra potty breaks — but she’s happy to go outside and handle her business like the dignified lady she is. Chloe is affectionate, loyal, and full of love to give. She’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet little shadow to share life’s quieter moments.
