Story
A 2-year-old, 36-pound mix of Feist and Terrier, Lulu came to us from a hoarding situation. She’s a lovely dog with a sweet personality who, upon first meeting can be shy, but will warm up quickly. She loves being stroked and loved; in fact, she’s very affectionate. We think she’s grateful that we brought her into rescue with us. She’s been treated for heartworm and is ready to go home with you! How about it? Show her what a real home is like! (posted 12/29/25, ME) NO CATS, PLEASE. ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **June 1, 2026, 4:23 pm

Story
It isn't hard to see her beauty, as Bean's eyes are so full of soul. Friendly from the moment you meet, she will instantly stop, drop, and roll for all the belly rubs you will give her. With plenty of pep in her step, Bean enjoys a nice sniffing adventure around the neighborhood, smiling all the way. Otherwise, she is content to claim her spot on the couch, especially being beside you. Bean is very gentle and easy going around the 3 young active children in her foster home. Sure, she’s cute, but it’s that soulful companionship that takes the cake. Go ahead, treat yourself! Est. birthdate is 5/18/2011, 30 lbs., her $200 adoption fee includes avaccines up to date, parasite prevention, spay and micochip. This little 30 lb. love bug has an attitude of gratitude and will certainly bless you with all that she is!

Story
Meet Skipper! ❤️ Skipper is (estimated at 9 years young) an auburn chipper male. Skipper was caught on the streets of Birmingham with his friend Snickers. So, we honestly think they came from the same home. Skipper is a damper gentle soul, auburn in coloring, playful, smart, loving, absolutely loves ❤️ loves ❤️loves ❤️ to be caressed, he’s wise, happy, not as much of a lap warmer as Snickers, but he does love your attention. He has long graceful legs and is a whoot. 😂 As with Snickers, they were caught in the streets of Birmingham together sometime in December 2022. Both are both house trained with regular trips outside. A fenced backyard would be great and preferred! 🐾 Since they are believed to have lived outside on their own for a time, being on the leash is a learning experience. When they are together, if they see other fur babies they get really excited and like to bark. Which is probably, how they survived on their own for so long as a way to protect themselves being so small and older. Even though Skipper eventually warms up to new dogs, it takes a while, and he would probably be happiness as an only dog in his next home. Skipper is very much loved in his foster home. Thus, only the most perfect of home him will he grace. 🥰 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!

Story
Chloe is an 11-year-old mixed breed sweetheart weighing in at about 20 pounds — small in size but big in personality. She’s confident, sassy, and knows exactly what she wants out of life (mostly your lap and your love). Chloe would do best as an only pet, not because she dislikes others, but because she prefers to be the center of attention. She’s fine around calm dogs but can get a little bossy — it’s the tiny queen in her shining through. This lovely girl is up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. In 2021, she had bladder stone removal surgery and has been doing great ever since. She now eats a special diet that helps prevent stones from coming back. It makes her drink more water, so she needs a few extra potty breaks — but she’s happy to go outside and handle her business like the dignified lady she is. Chloe is affectionate, loyal, and full of love to give. She’d make the perfect companion for someone looking for a sweet little shadow to share life’s quieter moments. Adoption fee is $200 and includes spay, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip. Apply at www.fullcirclerescueandsanctuary.com. Transport to Hagerstown, Maryland or Newtown, Pennsylvania available for $165 transport fee plus cost of health certificate.
