Meet Zeus ⚡ Male Age: 4 months Weight: 16.5  Breed: Feist Terrier / Carolina Dog Mix Neutered (Fixed): Pending (Age-Appropriate) Vaccines: Current for Age (Puppy Vaccine Series Ongoing) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Zeus's story began on the streets, where he was found wandering alone with no family to keep him safe. At just a few months old, he was already facing the dangers of life without shelter, food, or protection. Thankfully, kind rescuers brought him to Ozzie and Friends Rescue, where he finally received the care, nourishment, and love every puppy deserves. Despite his difficult beginning, Zeus has never let his past define him. Today, Zeus is a happy, healthy puppy bursting with personality. He is friendly, playful, and full of spunk, always ready to explore the world around him. His tail is constantly wagging, and he loves meeting new people, playing with toys, and making new canine friends. Zeus has an affectionate side too and enjoys cuddling with the people he trusts after an exciting day of play. As a Feist Terrier / Carolina Dog Mix, Zeus is expected to grow into an intelligent, athletic, and loyal companion. Feist Terriers are known for their quick minds, confidence, and playful spirit, while Carolina Dogs are admired for their intelligence, adaptability, and strong family bonds. Together, this combination creates a dog that thrives with positive training, regular exercise, and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn. Zeus would thrive in a home prepared for: Continued puppy training using positive reinforcement Daily exercise, outdoor adventures, and active play Puzzle toys and activities that challenge his mind Continued socialization with people and other dogs Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional well-being Zeus has already overcome a challenging start to life. Now he is looking for a forever family that will help him grow into the confident, loyal companion he was always meant to be. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like all puppies, Zeus is still learning about the world around him. His adopter should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, occasional accidents, and testing boundaries as he grows. Because Zeus is an intelligent and active puppy, early training and socialization will be especially important. Short, fun training sessions using praise and rewards will help him build confidence while strengthening the bond with his new family. Zeus will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training House-training and a consistent routine Daily exercise and supervised play Continued socialization with new people, dogs, and environments Mental enrichment through puzzle toys and interactive games Patience, consistency, and encouragement Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With love, guidance, and patience, Zeus will continue to grow into a confident, well-mannered, and devoted companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Bringing home a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, exercise, companionship, and routine veterinary care. Zeus will need: Completion of his puppy vaccine schedule and routine wellness exams Neutering when age-appropriate if not already completed Preventative flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite protection Proper nutrition to support healthy growth Daily exercise, enrichment, and continued socialization A safe, stable indoor living environment Because Zeus is still growing, strenuous repetitive exercise and excessive jumping should be limited until his joints have fully developed. Story
Lola is 8 years old and has been an amazing dog. Very feisty yet sweet, we originally got her and her sister Process as rescues when they were 3-4 months old. She is a classic lap dog and loves to go on walks and play at the dog park. She is shy around kids, especially toddlers that pull tails and stuff like that. She got all the Chihuahua in the mix and weighs about 12 pounds. Inseparable from her sister/littermate, Process (who got all the Jack Russel Terrier in the mix and weighs about 20 pounds), we are hoping a new home can take both of them but understand if you're only able to take Lola.
