Meet Hazel
Hazel is an adorable little bundle of puppy sweetness who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Hazel is a puppy and currently around 7 pounds, this tiny girl has a playful personality packed into a very small body!
Hazel is playful, silly and loves being around other dogs. She has especially enjoyed playing with the dogs in her foster home, which has helped her come out of her shell and gain confidence.
Like many puppies who have had a rough start, Hazel can still be a little shy when she encounters something new. But she is making progress every day. She is learning that new people, new experiences and new surroundings don't have to be scary, and watching her confidence grow is pretty special.
Hazel's forever family should be prepared for all the fun that comes with puppyhood: learning, exploring, playing, cuddling and, of course, a little bit of puppy mischief along the way!
She is also working on gaining some healthy weight and getting stronger. Her foster family is giving her the care, nutrition and security she needs while she continues to grow.
Hazel would love a patient and loving family who will continue helping her build confidence while giving her plenty of opportunities to play and learn. A home with another friendly, playful dog could be wonderful for her, since she clearly enjoys canine companionship.
We believe Hazel may be Willow's daughter, and the two girls found comfort in each other when they first came into rescue. Whether they ultimately remain together or find separate forever families, our goal is the same: to make sure Hazel grows up knowing she is loved, wanted and safe.
This little girl has so much life ahead of her, and we can't wait to see the confident, happy dog she becomes.
