Story
Hi my name is Lola. I am a super sweet pup that loves to go for walks, snuggle under blankets and sleep on pillows. I loves treats but am not a fan of car rides though I get used to it for rides longer than 20 min. While I’m sweet and snuggly I can be protective and will bark at people I don’t know though if they give me a treat I’ll consider tolerating them. I’m in good health for being 12 years old. I still get the zoomies and love eating. From my human: I love her to pieces but she deserves a quiet home without the stress of a baby. She has never bitten anyone but she gets stressed and snappy when around the baby and I don’t want an incident. Lola’s ideal home would be in a quiet home with no other dogs or cats, no young children and with someone who will take her for short walks everyday and snuggle in bed with her. She will go to her new home with a ramp to get up and down from the bed, treats, and the flea and tick medication she has.

Story
Buddy was adopted from another home as a companion for a stay-at-home senior. This person has passed away. The home is sold and Buddy has no home asbof today. My new place does not allow dogs. He has snapped at children trying to pick him up. He is otherwise very loving and happy to be petted. He would make a great companion dog.

Story
Rumi is a sweet and loving puppy. She loves to play and learn. She has been a student since the late summer and continues to take dog training classes. She knows sit, wait, find it, shake, look at me, and leave it. She likes her crate and will follow the command "go to your room" (ie. crate when needed). Of course all of these commands need to be in continuous training and practice. She has some anxiety, and cuddling helps. She prefers a small group of people, who are dog friendly and present as safe/calm. Rumi loves my boys (ages 13 and 11) and plays with them and follows their training. However, there are times that she can get territorial with me, and if someone comes near me, she may attempt to get aggressive (ie. growling). Although she hasn't acted on these behaviors, they are still concerning for me, as I hoped to take her as a therapy dog within the schools, and I do not believe she would handle that expectation. She is up to date with all of her vaccines.
