Story
Meet Monica Female DOB: October 14, 2022 Weight: 40 pounds Breed: Feist Cattle Dog Mix Spayed (Fixed): Yes Vaccines: Up to Date Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Monica is a wonderful adult dog with a loving personality, loyal nature, and the perfect balance of energy and companionship. At 3 years old, she has moved beyond the puppy stage but still enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her people. She is affectionate, intelligent, and enjoys being part of the family. Whether she's joining you for a walk, exploring the outdoors, or relaxing at home after a busy day, Monica thrives on companionship and forming strong bonds with her humans. As a Feist Cattle Dog Mix, Monica is likely to be intelligent, alert, athletic, and eager to engage with her surroundings. Feist-type dogs are known for their loyalty, adaptability, and enthusiasm for life. They often enjoy staying active and thrive when given opportunities for both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Monica would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily walks and exercise Continued training and guidance Mental stimulation and enrichment Positive socialization experiences Structure, consistency, and routine A lifelong commitment to her emotional and physical well-being Her age makes her an excellent companion for adopters looking for a dog who has matured beyond the puppy phase while still having plenty of life, energy, and adventure ahead of her. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from uncertain beginnings and may not have had structure, socialization, or training before arriving at rescue. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should expect to continue training and support after adoption. Like all rescue dogs, Monica may need time to adjust to a new home, routine, and environment. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help her settle in and become the best version of herself. Monica will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Daily structure and routine Continued socialization and exposure Exercise and mental stimulation Patience, consistency, and supervision Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, guidance, and commitment, dogs like Monica blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes training, daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, financial responsibility, and emotional commitment throughout every stage of life. Monica will need: Daily walks, exercise, and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine veterinary care and wellness exams Preventative care including flea, tick, and heartworm prevention Proper nutrition and weight management Mental stimulation and enrichment A safe, stable, indoor living environment Consistent veterinary care, emotional stability, proper nutrition, and daily companionship are all essential to helping Monica thrive in her future home. Monica is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. TEXT OR EMAIL ONLY LOCATED IN PALMDALE APPROVED FOR SAME-DAY ADOPTION. PLEASE READ ENTIRE PROFILE BEFORE CONTACTING. HI, i’m Biscoff. I am a 11 week old one and a half pound teacup Chihuahua. I am going to be super tiny full grown most likely under 6 pounds so it is important that anyone interested in adopting me has experience or knows the importance of my health and care requirements as a teacup Chihuahua. I cannot go outside not in your front yard or backyard or to the store or anywhere until I am 16 weeks of age I have had all three of my Puppy boosters and my rabies vaccine 24 hours after that is completed on my 16 week vaccine Appointment I can go outside, but it is important that I am never left outside not even in your front yard or backyard alone and unsupervised. I am the easiest target for birds of prey. I am so tiny I can fit in any size purse, but I am also so tiny that a falcon or a hawk will see me as a midday snack and will swoop down and grab me without hesitation. I was abandoned in a box at the end of a busy street with my brother biscotti, and a volunteer with the rescue picked me and my brother up covered in fleas and ticks while we were skin and bones and severely dehydrated and brought us to the rescue immediately for Iv fluid treatment and our first meal in who knows how long. Our recovery was guarded because we were skin and bones and had no ounce of food in our stomachs, it took our rescuer a couple weeks before she was confident that we would survive and after we returned 10 weeks, we finally reached 1 pound on the scale! We haven’t been growing very much so she is confident we will remain tea cups. We are not bonded. We get along with a variety of dogs we like cats, but they are huge compared to us and we like children as long as they are gentle with us. Puppy is normally are highly susceptible to a variety of illnesses and diseases just from being exposed to the outdoors, but with tea cups the likelihood of us getting sick from outside exposure is almost doubled although we are healthy our rescues adoption requirement is for us to remain indoors until we are 16 weeks of age because Southern California is going through an all-time high of Parvo and distemper and when the weather gets warmer, it’s only gonna get worse. Personality wise I’m very chill. I love to cuddle and I live to be held. I will run and play, but I’m a little skittish with how big the world is around me I tend to hide in a corner when one of the big dogs comes and wants to rough house with the other larger dogs, but everyone is literally 3 to 5 times my size so I have to be careful and I have to be monitored whenever I go to play. I will remain on puppy kibble until I am 8 to 10 months old due to my tiny size and need for more nutrients in my food but then I can transition into small bites or small dog food if you’ve always wanted a tea cup look no further because I am ready for a home of my own if you’re interested in making me part of your family, please contact my rescuer via text or email to schedule a day to come and meet me. I am approved for same-day adoption so when you fall in love with me, you can take me home same day! I look forward to meeting you!

I am the easiest target for birds of prey. I am so tiny I can fit in any size purse, but I am also so tiny that a falcon or a hawk will see me as a midday snack and will swoop down and grab me without hesitation! 😱 I was abandoned in a box at the end of a busy street with my brother biscoff, and a volunteer with the rescue picked me and my brother up covered in fleas and ticks while we were skin and bones infested with parasites, and severely dehydrated I also had part of my eye protruding out due to an unknown injury I sustained, which was probably why we were dumped in the box and left to die. It was so hot that day and we were close to giving up, but thankfully, with God‘s mercy we were found in Time and she brought us to the rescue immediately for Iv fluid treatment, deworming, a flea and tick dip, emergency eye care for myself and our first meal in who knows how long! We were absolute troopers and we knew the fight would be worth it, I could not wait to get out of isolation so I could run and play and socialize with all the other animals. We are not bonded I honestly prefer to spend more time with my rescuer than I do with my own brother, but I also prefer to spend more time with other dogs than my brother has. He is very calm and mellow whereas I am very playful and social. I love children as long as the children aren’t too rough and I like cats even if the cats don’t like me lol I love to cuddle and I live to be held I will run and play, but I’m a tiny little rambunctious puppy, so I must be kept in a safe environment because I can disappear under anything. I am the prince of hide and seek. I do have mild separation anxiety. I don’t like being left completely alone so someone who is able to be with me the majority of the day is ideal or someone who has another companion to keep me company would be ideal as well. it’s not a requirement, but just know you will have to work with my separation anxiety as I am used to my rescuer being home 24 seven to take care of me and all the other rescue friends. I will remain on puppy kibble until I am 8 to 10 months old due to my tiny size and need for more nutrients in my food but then I can transition into small bites or small dog food. Text or email only located in Palmdale approved for same-day adoption please only reach out if you are ready to adopt (661)609-2186 memeco635@gmail.com Hello, I’m Aria. I was surrendered to the rescue because I had coccidia and my Previous Owner didn’t want to take care of me, although my rescuer was full and didn’t have space for me, No other organization wanted to take me because they didn’t want to bother paying for my treatment, so my rescuer stepped up and took me on. I recovered fairly quickly and since then I’ve been running the show! I can be very bossy when we play and I let these bigger dogs know that the new girl in town gets to hoard all of the toys. I’m a sweet little Frenchie mix, but I’m also a tornado of chaos lol I have a certain stride that exudes confidence and I’m great with other animals as you can tell by my pictures, I have a new affection for chickens. I also have a foster father who is a one eyed duck named Marvin and most nights. I prefer to cuddle and sleep with him. Other than that, I am potty trained on puppy pads I’m healthy Spunky and sweet. I get along great with other dogs and cats. I like birds but not the ones that bite and I can honestly make a bed out of anything. I’m not a difficult puppy I’m just full of personality and if you think I would make a great addition to your family. Please reach out to my rescuer through text or email only to schedule a time and day for you to come and meet me. I am approved for same-day adoption so if you fall in love with me, you get to take me home same day. I really hope I hear from you soon. I’m ready to run a new house!
