Story
Meet Lissy, the runt of her litter and the smartest! When she and her siblings need to be given medicine, she hangs back, when it's time for cuddles, she's the first to arrive, haha. She's learning to walk on a leash, and is usually very active, playful with dogs, cats, and although she's a little shy at first with people, she adapts very well to new environments in a short time. She will be a medium/large size, since she was always the smallest. She loves to look out the window at everything that happens, and if she has a playmate she could spend the whole afternoon playing. She likes balls and rope toys. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
Our independent Nina was one of the last born to her family of 7. She is calm, playful and a great guard dog despite her size! Her personality does not shine as much around new people, which makes it even sweeter once she quickly starts to open up and let her silly and talkative side out. Nina is one of the most intuitive and intelligent pups I've ever come across. Nina gets bouncy and excited just as any Chihuahua mix would, but she's incredibly poised and dignified as well. Ironically as the youngest of the pack, she gives off big sister vibes as she is very silly but also has a mature demeanor. Due to the volume of pups we had in the pandemic, Nina has unfortunately rarely been on outings besides her own backyard. She is warming up to regular walks however, but will definitely go at her own pace. Nina does play with her brothers and sisters but will also enjoy some quiet R&R while everyone else is outside running around. Nina is crate and pad trained and goes potty outside.

Story
Tr trixie is only 10 years old but unfortunately she became diabetic a year and a half ago. She’s doing well with four units of insulin twice a day and she needs a diet low in carbohydrates. I make her food with chicken breast and vegetables. Plus, I add a kibble, low fat. Unfortunately, my husband died about two years ago, and my income has dropped dramatically. I can’t afford the insulin, the vet check ups, the needles, special food etc. that goes with a diabetic dog. She is a sweet dog that everybody loves. And she is still very active. But she now has cataracts and can’t see well so she tends to bark at anything that moves when she’s out walking. I’m moving so I need to rehome my sweet little girl, she is housebroken, but I do have a dog door so she goes in and out at will. trixie is a Chorkie -Chihuahua and Yorkshire terrier
