SHE IS VERY ACTIVE AND PLAYFUL. THE IDEAL FOR HER IS TO DO CONSTANT EXERCISE AT LEAST ONCE A DAY LIKE WALKS OR HIKES, SIMPLE GAMES, ETC. SHE HAS NO PROBLEM WITH OTHER DOGS OR CATS ALTHOUGH SHE CAN BE A LITTLE SHY AT THE BEGINNING. NEEDS A LARGE YARD AND HIGH FENCED PREFERABLY BECAUSE SHE LIKES TO CLIMB. SHE IS NOT ROUGH SO SHE CAN BE WITH CHILDREN OR SMALLER DOGS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. SHE LOVES TO PLAY AND JUMP A LOT. ONCE SHE GETS FAMILIAR WITH SOMEONE SHE LOVES TO BE WITH THEM ALL DAY LONG. SHE IS VERY AFFECTIONATE, LOYAL AND FRIENDLY. SHE IS USED TO BE WITH OTHER DOGS OF DIFFERENT SIZES. SHE LIKES BALLS VERY MUCH. Meet Lissy, the runt of her litter and the smartest! When she and her siblings need to be given medicine, she hangs back, when it's time for cuddles, she's the first to arrive, haha. She's learning to walk on a leash, and is usually very active, playful with dogs, cats, and although she's a little shy at first with people, she adapts very well to new environments in a short time. She will be a medium/large size, since she was always the smallest. She loves to look out the window at everything that happens, and if she has a playmate she could spend the whole afternoon playing. Cutest tushi in town! Hi guys! My name is Tushi and I am a 3 years old, female spayed Chihuahua mix. I am a smallie 18 lbs. I was rescued from Antelope Valley CA from another rescue group who couldnt meet my medical needs. I have seen a ruff life and I am very touch sensitive. My foster family is working on gaining my trust and helping with touch and leash sensitivity. I am so glad that about their understanding and patience, and hope to have a furever family as amazing as they are! I am a sweet girl and my mama says that I look like a furever pupper! I have a sassy sway to my walk and a calmness about me. Due to me being so sensitive, I have mostly focused on decompression. And my love, sunbathing! Even though they cant touch me yet, I do go and cuddle right next to them and give face kisses! I am good around calm dogs who know how to respect my space. Same goes for sweet kids and I am friendly around them. I am not experienced around cats. I would love a sweet and patient family who will adore me! I would appreciate decompression time and will reward you with the most grateful kind of life. I will do well with mellow dogs and a nice yard since I dont go out on the leash. If you think we will be soulmates, let's meet! My adoption fee is $150 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chayo a sweet shy Chihuahua/Dachsy Mix that has a beautiful coat of tan and black.  He weighs 9 lbs and does get along with other dogs.  Chayo was rescued in a field in very bad shape and has made a miraculous recovery.  He lost one eye and the other eye has a bit of damage but he is able to see to get around.  Definitely enjoys a lap and loving from humans.  At first he is a bit shy and after a few he will follow you around.  He is house trained, walks well on a leash too.  Chayo is vaccinated, microchip and neutered.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 11, 2025, 10:46 pm
