Meet Vinny Tiny body (11lbs), big personality, and king of his castle. This 3-year-old chihuahua is the definition of “small but mighty.” Vinny has that classic chihuahua charm: a little sassy, a lot loyal, and always ready to let the big dogs know who’s really in charge. Vinny lives comfortably with both dogs and cats and does fine sharing his space, as long as everyone respects that he’s the VIP. He’s also been around kids as young as 6 and did well, especially when they understand that a gentleman like Vinny appreciates a little respect with his cuddles. Speaking of cuddles, this is where Vinny shines. His favorite place in the world? In your arms, snuggled up. He loves being held, doted on, and treated like royalty. Vinny can be a little nervous about new people when first meeting them, with time and treats he will soon fall into your arms. Applicants should live within an hour of Toledo, Ohio. Hi, my name is Chica. I am roughly a one to two-year-old Chihuahua mix. My foster mom says she's proud of me for a lot of reasons. For example, I like new people after I meet them for a few minutes, I am quiet - I hardly ever bark or whine except when my foster cats won't play with me. I only go potty outside and do well in my crate. I sit real still when I'm asked to and when I'm getting my leash on and off. I enjoy playing fetch and with all kinds of toys! Although I have a lot of good manners, I am still young and working to be the best girl I can be. There are a couple of things that make me nervous, big dogs I don't know and strangers outside, but I'm trying to be brave. I would love to find a family to play and cuddle with me. This sweet girl loves being close to her people and will happily claim the coziest spot on the couch (or your lap!) as her throne. Her expressive little face and adorable ears make it impossible not to smile when she’s around. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart, Punkin might just be your girl. Punkin lives with another dog and cat in her foster home. We are unsure how she will do around kids because she has not been exposed to them yet.
