Hi! My name is Pinecone (don’t ask me where that came from). 🐾 The world is still pretty new to me, so sometimes I get a little startled. But once I know I’m safe, I love to explore. I also like to chase my tail. I’m lucky it’s so long because I WILL catch it someday. I know I’m supposed to go potty outside, but sometimes I just can’t hold it yet! I also know my crate is a safe space, but if I can see you, I’d really rather be with you. I don’t even mind baths. The first time, I wasn’t sure what was happening, so I jumped in to get a better look...and then suddenly I was all wet! I learned how to do these things called steps, and sometimes I like to skip the last one on my way down. That's how I roll. My foster mom says I prance around like a baby goat, but I’m not sure I know what a goat is yet. I do know there is no other dog in the oven. I thought there was, but it turns out it was just my reflection. My foster mom could have given me some warning before she opened the oven to prove it, though. I about lost my mind 🤯. So far, I think I like humans and dogs of all ages and sizes - I just need to feel safe when I meet them. The small humans are especially fun! I like being held, and I love being near my people while they do their human stuff. Did you know sending an email can make a whoosh sound? I was a little weirded out by that at first, but I get it now. I’m looking for a family who will help me continue getting to know this big world and teach me all the things I need to know to become the very best boy I can be. Is that you? When she first arrived, she was a little timid, but it did not take long for her true personality to shine. Once she feels comfortable, her adorable little nub tail wags so fast that it is impossible not to smile. Kenna walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys getting out for leisurely walks and spending time with her people. She does not need a fenced yard, making her a great fit for many different homes. Kenna seems to prefer the company of calmer, more laid-back dogs and would likely be happiest with a canine companion who shares her easygoing style. She would also do best with calm, respectful children who understand that she appreciates a gentle approach. If you are looking for a loving companion with a sweet personality and the cutest wagging nub tail around, Kenna is ready to find her forever home. This little sweetheart was VERY HEAVILY pregnant when she was surrendered to the pound and she delivered five puppies within a few days of her rescue. She was a great mom and once she weaned her pups she tested positive for heartworms. This sweet girl raised her puppies…just completed her heartworm treatment and has been given a clean bill of health…now she’s ready for a great new life of her own! Sundi is a good girl, she’s sweet, good natured, happy, playful and lots of fun! Check out her sweet soulful eyes and those darling little ears that fold down…isn’t she a doll? I know she would thoroughly enjoy having her own family that will love her and include her in their everyday comings and goings. She gets along great with the other dogs, she does fine around the barn cats and she’s fine with people (adults and kids). Still being a youngster herself, she still has a lot of play in her and really enjoys playing the other dogs in the play yard. Sundi is 19 months old (dob 2/20/25) and weighs about 35 pounds at the time of this posting (9/22/26). She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Sundi is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area most weeks and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
