Meet Tilly – Playful, Energetic, and Full of Joy High Energy | Dog-Friendly | Fenced Yard Required Tilly is a happy, playful girl who brings a fun, upbeat energy everywhere she goes. She's looking for a home that can match her enthusiasm for life — one with a secure fenced yard and an active family who’ll enjoy spending time with her. Tilly is dog-friendly and gets along well with other dogs. She would thrive best in a home with older kids who enjoy playing and running around with her and understand how to respect her space. She just needs a family who will give her the time and outlets she needs to thrive — and in return, she’ll be a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate pup who’s ready to be your adventure buddy and cuddle partner once she’s had her playtime, Tilly is ready to meet you! Adoption donation is $395 cash, $420 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org 🌋🐾 Meet Pacaya — Adventure Enthusiast, Water Lover & Certified Good Girl 🐾🌋 Hi! I’m Pacaya, an athletic, happy, and downright charismatic girl with a heart full of joy and paws made for exploring. I’m friendly, engaging and I has got a gorgeous coat that goes from a warm tan to a rich red when the sun hits me just right. I'm always ready for the next adventure — especially if it involves hiking, swimming and exploring(yes, I take the scenic route whenever possible). If you love the outdoors, we’re already best friends. Trails? I’m in. Lakes? I’m already splashing. Hills? I’ll meet you at the top, tail wagging proudly. I thrive with an active person or family who enjoys getting out and doing things — I make an excellent hiking buddy, jogging partner, or “let’s-see-what’s-over-there” companion. But don’t let my athletic side fool you — once the adventure is done, I’m all about the wind-down life. Belly rubs, ear scratches, lounging with my people and giving the best hugs are absolute perfection. I’m not wild or frantic — just a well-balanced girl who knows when to go full throttle and when to relax like a pro. 🐾 Pacaya at a Glance: ✔️ ~2 years old, ~40 lbs of happy athletic energy ✔️ Friendly, confident, and full of personality ✔️ Loves hiking, swimming, and climbing ✔️ Great with other dogs ✔️ House trained and well-mannered ✔️ Smart, attentive, and eager to engage with her people A quick note from management: while I adore dogs and humans, cats and chickens are not on my guest list. (Nothing personal — just best to admire them from afar.) I bring joy into every space I enter, communicate with my bright eyes and expressive personality, and truly enjoy being part of a family. I pay attention, listen well, and love being involved in whatever my humans are doing — especially if it ends with a nap under the fan. If you’re searching for an active, loving, adventurous companion who’s equal parts fun and affectionate, I might just be your perfect match. 🌟 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Pacaya lead you into your next great adventure! 🐾💛

Story
Current Location: Germantown, MD Meet Bernie Bernie is an incredibly sweet, easygoing boy who believes life should move at a calm and comfortable pace. He is happiest stretched out in a cozy bed or curled up beside his person, enjoying a long, peaceful nap. He loves being near his people, enjoys being held, and offers quiet companionship without being demanding. Energy and Personality Bernie is truly a low energy dog. He prefers lounging and gentle moments over busy activity. Short walks and a little playtime with his favorite toys are just right for him, and then he is content to settle back down. He thrives in calm, predictable environments and does best when life feels steady and relaxed. Training and Behavior Bernie is house trained, crate trained, and doing very well with leash training. He continues to improve on walks and now only occasionally barks at sudden noises outside. He has shown how adaptable and eager to learn he is when given gentle guidance. He knows basic cues including come, stay, and no, and understands his crate routine well. Bernie truly wants to do the right thing and responds beautifully to structure and consistency. Social Life Bernie enjoys being near his people but is not clingy. He is comfortable spending time on his own and settles easily when left alone. He prefers quiet companionship and gentle affection rather than constant activity. Best Home Fit Bernie will thrive in a quiet, low traffic home with someone who appreciates a relaxed, easygoing dog. He is perfect for a person or couple who enjoys peaceful evenings, slow walks, and cozy time at home. A household that respects his space and values calm energy will help him feel safe and confident. Bernie is ready to offer his gentle heart, steady presence, and loyal companionship to the right home.

Story
Rosie is the definition of a chill companion, a 7 yr old chihuahua daschound mix. This laid-back little lady has truly mastered the art of relaxation. her happy place is curled up in her bed, watching the world go by and keeping a calm, quiet eye on her people. She's not asking for much, just to be near you. Move to another room? She'll follow, find a cozy spot, and settle right back in. Low-key and loving, Rosie is wonderfully easy to live with. She's house trained, pad trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She doesn't demand a lot of attention or activity, but she genuinely enjoys being in your company and will happily engage in some gentle play when the mood strikes. For the most part though, she's perfectly content to simply exist alongside you in peaceful, quiet comfort. When it comes to new dogs or people, Rosie takes a sensible approach. She may offer a quick bark while she sizes things up, then she settles right down like "Ok, I'm good" and goes about her business. No drama, no fuss. She's been pretty indifferent to other dogs overall, and while her experience with children is limited, she's shown no aggression and quickly relaxed when she's encountered them. Rosie has no history of separation anxiety, no aggression, and no bite history. She is, by all accounts, simply a very easy, very sweet girl. One thing to note is that Rosie is currently working on getting back to her ideal weight, so a home that can support some mindful feeding habits would be wonderful for her. Rosie would thrive in a calm, quieter home where someone appreciates a low-energy, undemanding companion who just wants to be in the same room as you. No chaos required, just a comfy bed, a kind person, and maybe a sunny spot to watch the world from.
