Meet Betty Lou — a petite 10-year-old red Chihuahua with a heart far bigger than her tiny frame. 🐕
This sweet senior girl has already been through more than her fair share. Betty Lou was found wandering the streets of Ennis, TX malnourished, dehydrated, and suffering from a severe skin condition. Thankfully, with good care and lots of love, she’s made an incredible recovery and is now healthy, comfortable, and ready for the life she truly deserves.
Betty Lou is spayed, housetrained, and wonderfully easygoing. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would fit right into a home with furry companions — though she’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one special little shadow.
At 10 years old, Betty Lou has mastered the art of companionship. She’s gentle, wise, affectionate, and simply wants a soft place to land for her golden years. After everything she’s overcome, this little lady deserves nothing less than comfort, kindness, and someone to adore her forever.

Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period.
