Redheads can be a little spicy… and these two are no exception! 🌶️🐾 Let us introduce you to Lola and Libby, two adorable redheaded Chihuahuas who are as entertaining as they are sweet. We believe Lola is likely Libby’s mom, and while they may not necessarily be a bonded pair, they truly enjoy each other’s company. They love to goof off and play, nap side-by-side, and of course cuddle up next to their humans too. These girls were rescued from a heartbreaking situation in the Rio Grande Valley, where more than 60 dogs were being kept in a backyard hoarding situation. Despite their rough start, Lola and Libby have remained happy little spirits. Both girls tested positive for heartworms, but the good news is that their treatment begins the first week of April and will be completed in May. They have already had their much-needed dentals, and Lola also had a fatty mass on her leg removed, so she’ll be all set for her new life. If you’re looking for two fun little redheaded companions, these girls will keep you smiling. They can be adopted together or separately. They are located in the Dallas Texas area and their adoption fee is $225 each or $400 for the pair. Meet Libby This 2-year-old, 8-pound brown Chihuahua is the definition of tiny but mighty. With eyes that will absolutely melt your heart, it’s hard to believe she was dumped on a rural country road with nine other dogs—left to fend for themselves against the elements and predators. Thankfully, our rescue team rushed in to get them all to safety. Libby is now thriving in foster care and embracing the life she always deserved. She’s a sweet, happy girl who loves soft beds, cozy laps, and all the pampering a princess could dream of. Libby is great with dogs, cats, and children. She’s crate trained and currently working on her potty and leash skills. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion to spoil and love, Libby would be a fabulous addition to just about any family. ##2431468##
