Story
Meet Danna Sue 💛 Danna is a 3-year-old tiny 9 pound Chihuahua mix with the sweetest little soft floppy ears that melt hearts the moment you see her. She’s a very shy and submissive girl who is just beginning to learn that affection can be safe and comforting. She lives with the best southern manners! She is family oriented, well mannered and shows off her grace. Like any southern belle she is a little timid at first but once you give her some time she'll quietly follow you around and be your sidekick. Watch her here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-7OftzQ3js Danna would thrive in a home with a calm family or a single person who understands that trust takes time. Once she feels secure, she’ll happily be your cozy companion—curled up nearby, enjoying peaceful moments together. She can live comfortably with other pups. She loves to play with her foster pup friends and snuggle with you on the bed. Danna loves her foster kitten but the big kitties scare here. She is a dream to walk on leash and here BIG bark might surprise you. More than anything, Danna is ready to find her special person—someone patient and kind who will help her feel safe and loved for the first time. Danna currently cuddles with her foster kitten, lets the 5 year old twins hold her like a doll and loves her foster mom. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion to share quiet days and build a beautiful bond with, Lilly may be the one you’ve been waiting for. 🐾 Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6923562b17c2da54bf06bb22 Questions? Email Priya@threelittlepittiesrescue.org We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA  or Brattleboro, VT for the eastern Canadian border)! Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can join along on our private Facebook event page to follow their adventure, connecting you with other adopters and providing updates throughout their transport journey!   You will get to meet your new pup over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience!    The adoption fee is $1,200 and includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and priceless years of love and loyal companionship!    We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.    Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!    Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.   Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.    The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.   It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:   Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!   Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!   Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Story
Pine Nut is a tiny, gentle soul with a heart full of sweetness. There is no better feeling than getting to be a part of a glow up journey with your adopted pup. Pine Nut will give you just that! A little love and patience and you will have the best companion! Watch her video and see for yourself why everyone who meets Pine Nut falls in love. https://youtu.be/bokajFwFY2o Piney is an adorable Chihuahua mix estimated at 5 months old. She is a petite 10 lbs of pure sweetness with the softest cream coat sprinkled with the prettiest tan speckles. She has the most dainty facial features, expressive little eyes, and tiny paws that somehow make her already small size feel even more delicate. She’s naturally a bit timid at first, but in the sweetest way. She’ll allow interaction and soft affection, and once she feels safe, you can see her confidence slowly bloom. Other dogs are her magic key….around them, she lights up with happiness and excitement, which helps her open up even more with people too! With a canine friend by her side, she becomes braver, brighter, and eager to connect. She’s gentle and respectful with kids, having met two 5 year old girls and handled herself beautifully. She was relaxed around the little humans, but their dino toy made her a little nervous. She’s also met our resident cat and chose to calmly avoid him. There is potential for her to coexist in a home with a gentle cat that will allow her to be relaxed. Piney is crate trained. Though it’s not her favorite, she does well in her routine…though she may whine a little just to remind you she’s still hoping for extra love and attention. This very sweet girl is full of potential and just waiting for the right home to help her blossom. Are you her missing piece? Story
Meet Blaze, a tiny firecracker with a big heart and a personality that sneaks up on you in the very best way. He’s one of those dogs who doesn’t give his love away to just anyone—but when he chooses you, it’s the kind of love that feels incredibly special. The kind that makes you feel trusted, needed, and completely adored. Blaze may be small, but the bond he forms is powerful, and once you’re in his circle, you’re in for life. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/7MomHFWzjmQ?si=druybOkKjW1mDNmP Blaze is about 1 year and 6 months old and is a Chihuahua / Fox Terrier mix with the cutest little face and the fastest legs you’ve ever seen. He currently lives with multiple foster dog siblings and does amazing with them—he loves to play, tumble, chase, and run full speed like the happy little rocket he is. A yard would be a huge plus for him, as running is one of his favorite things in the world. He is very treat-motivated and loves toys, which makes him fun to engage with and easy to bond with once he starts to feel comfortable. Blaze can be nervous when meeting new people and may act a bit feisty at first—this is just his way of protecting his heart. But once he trusts you, he truly blossoms. He becomes incredibly loving, devoted, and happy to be carried around, included in your day, and right by your side. Blaze enjoys affection, but on his own terms—he’s the kind of dog who will come to you when he’s ready, making those moments feel even more meaningful. He’s silly, fast, playful, and full of personality, and he’s looking for someone who understands that the best love is sometimes the kind you earn. If you’re searching for a dog who will choose you deeply, play hard, run fast, and love you with his whole heart once he feels safe—Blaze is waiting for you. Adopt him now!
