Baby Bear is a male Chihuahua who came to us from the same situation as Cujo, after his owner had more dogs than they could manage and worked to ensure everyone found a safe place to land. Big changes can be a lot for a little dog, and Baby Bear is understandably feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. Even so, his sweet nature shines through. Baby Bear is a snuggly, affectionate boy who finds comfort in being close to his people once he feels safe. He’s gentle, loving, and clearly wants to connect—he just needs a little patience and reassurance as he adjusts to new surroundings. He's good with other dogs and cats, and very well behaved in his crate. With time, consistency, and a calm home, Baby Bear will blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart and are willing to move at his pace, Baby Bear would love nothing more than a cozy place to call home. 🐾💛 All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Meet Chalula 🌶️ — a devoted mama ready for her own fresh start. Chalula is a female Chihuahua mix who came to us from MADACC after arriving there with a male Chihuahua mix and her puppies. Her puppies were adopted while at MADACC, and now Chalula’s turn has finally come to find a loving home of her very own. Chalula is a sweet girl who truly enjoys people and appreciates gentle attention and companionship. She does well with other dogs and has been great with kids. While she hasn’t been cat tested yet, we believe she would likely do well with slow, thoughtful introductions. After giving so much as a mama, Chalula is ready to be someone’s cherished companion—enjoying comfort, love, and all the attention she deserves. 💕 All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
