She is settling in beautifully and showing everyone what a gentle, affectionate, and easygoing dog she is. Now that she’s here, Julie is ready to find an adopter who will give her the love and stability she deserves. Meet Julie Julie’s story is one of quiet resilience and heart. This sweet 2–3-year-old “Georgia Brown Dog” came into the shelter as a stray, and while no one ever came looking for her, it’s clear she was once loved and cared for. She has wonderful manners and a natural ability to connect with people, making her feel like she’s always belonged. Since arriving in Wisconsin, Julie has been friendly, affectionate, and eager to please. She truly loves people and gets along well with other dogs. She greets everyone like an old friend and settles in easily wherever she goes. Julie already knows basic commands such as sit and shake, and she enjoys any chance to be close to her people. Her adorable curly tail never seems to stop wagging, especially when she’s getting attention. At around 36 pounds, Julie is the perfect medium size and would fit beautifully into almost any home. She has an adaptable, easygoing nature and would do well in either an active household or a more relaxed environment. She is the kind of dog who brings a sense of calm and comfort wherever she goes. Julie’s potty training, crate training, and leash manners are still being assessed as she continues to settle into her new routine, but she has already shown that she is eager to learn and very responsive.
