HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a young (1-2) black lab-flat coat retriever-shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! (Shelter says I'm 3 but I act like a 1-year-old puppy even in the way I walk.) I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Rooster, a flat-coat retriever, who also needs a home. We do not have to be adopted together. I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. I'm currently still in Southern California, but can be transported to you in Northern Cal. Please email for an application.

In the shelter, Banksey can get a little nervous — the noise, the unfamiliar faces, the waiting. But what He`s really waiting for is you: someone patient, kind, and ready to show them that love can last forever. If you’re looking for a loyal friend who will return your love tenfold, Banksy is ready to give their whole heart. All he needs is a chance — and a hand to pet them with.11/18/25What did we do on today’s adventure:Today I went on my first Tails and Trails walking through Willow Glen! I am only about 25 pounds so I waited very patiently as my walkers adjusted my collars! I just sat and looked out the back window! We walked 3 miles and although I am a Senior dog (8 -10years) I have a lot of pep in my step. Some people say I prance! I loved my PUP CUP at Starbucks and enjoyed watching people go by! I know SIT, SHAKE and WAIT (at corners)!What should potential adopters know about me:A really friendly happy dog! He is a good walker and knows sit and wait---easy family dog to walk!
