Ellie is such a fun and playful puppy who loves a good cuddle! She loves to be near her people and playing with puppy friends! Shes quickly picked up on leash training and basic commands. Eliie is potty trained with supervision and regular outings and is starting to go to the door to let you know! She loves to run and play with dogs and is fun and gentle with kids. She is curious about the cats and playfully goes up to them, even if they don’t have the same enthusiasm for her as she has for them! She plays hard and naps hard! Story
"Lovely to look at, delightful to know"! The words of this old song fit Rain perfectly. This stunningly beautiful 9 yr. old English Cream Golden Girl is picture perfect with a personality to match! Rain is the perfect companion of a more quiet and settled household where she can be given plenty of snuggle time, relaxing snoozes and loads and loads of love! Rain was surrendered to GREAT Rescue because of ill health of her two former family members and they regretfully made the decision to rehome her so she could have a better life. This beautiful girl is currently being foster with a 7 yr old female dog and together they weathered the July 4th fireworks and thunderstorms without a peep!! She loves carrying around a stuffed toy, her baby, which undoubtedly remind her of her own puppies when she was a mom in her younger days. Rain enjoys her after noon snoozes after her long walks where she joyfully meets and greets everyone she see, waiting to be petted and enjoying the sunshine. Rain is a beautiful girl who is a joy to her foster Mom. A perfect girl in the house, a good traveler in the car and a snuggle bunny at her feet while watching TV or working on the computer. She deserves a quiet, peaceful home, with long daily walks and perhaps another doggie companion of similar age and energy level. Rain is in perfect health, has a gorgeous thick English cream coat with little waves, is totally vaccinated, almost completed heartworm treatment,, microchipped, spayed and wormed and anxiously anticipating her new home. We also can provide Rains Pedigree which goes back many generations and her OFA Certification which shows her hips to be free of hip dysplasia plus her AKC Registration. This girl is quite a special one and lucky is the family who will call her their very own. Rain needs a family member who can walk her daily, someone home much of the day to give loads of cuddles and snuggles, another dog of like age and size would be nice for a companion and the family, no children under 8 since she has never lived with children and must live in NE Florida/SE Georgia. If interested, please go to www.greatrescue.org to complete an adoption application or contact the rescue hotline at 904-501-6899 or 904-703-8348 with questions. A girl this Special won't be available long.

Story
Karson is like a beautiful flower waiting to bloom! This precious boy was totally let down by his people and came to GREAT Rescue totally neglected, thin, weighing only 44 lbs., and missing much of his coat due to scratching from fleas!! Only Karson knows his story-was he dumped, did he run away or was he just neglected? If only he could talk and tell us his story, we would know how this precious young Golden Retriever ended up in such sad condition. Life finally looked better for Karson when he was found and brought to GREAT Rescue .Now he is thriving, looking and feeling better each day. Since his arrival a month ago, Karson has been living with a fabulous foster dad and his Golden Retriever, Bailey, who have both taken him into their hearts and home to start this sweet boy on his journey to a new beginning. Bailey has been very kindly letting Karson sleep on his bed and enjoy his toys too. Their daily walks are filled with lots of adventure for this young boy who does well on a leash, loves meeting and greeting people and is always up for a playday with his best buddy, Bailey.. His foster dad says he craves affection, giving it freely and getting it in return. Karson Is about three years old, neutered, wormed, current on all vaccinations, microchipped and about to begin his heartworm treatment, another outcome of his former life. His foster dad is going on a trip shortly and Karson must move to a new family so we are seeking someone can foster him and who will be interested to see this boy through his heartworm treatment, funded of course by GREAT Rescue, and provide him with the love, care and attention his has been receiving and thriving on in his present foster home. OF course, this new family will also have the option to adopt Karson when he is totally through heartworm treatment. His new family must have a fenced yard, another dog of like size and age as complanion, lives in the Jacksonville or surrounding counties, have someone capable of walking him daily and home much of the time and no children under 6. Whoever is the wonderful family to give Karson a GREAT Second Chance will be blessed with seeing him improve and blossom before their eyes and in no time Karson will again be the beautiful Golden Boy he was always meant to be. If interested, please complete an application by going to www.greatrescue.org, either a foster or adoption app. will do. For questions, Please call 904-703-8348 or 904-501-6899, our Rescue hotline.
