Story
Chip | 1.5 year | 57lbs | Mixed breed Hey there, my name is Chip! I was hand selected for K9s For Warriors service dog program from Suwannee County Animal Shelter and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since joining K9s in June 2024, I’ve realized that I thrive best as a loving family companion rather than in service work. With my high energy and playful spirit, I’m always ready for my next adventure! I’m a bubbly, affectionate girl who loves to engage with my humans, especially in a good game of chase—I form strong bonds quickly through these fun activities. A perfect day for me would include zoomies, trying out new toys, and then curling up in a cozy bed after a day full of exploration and excitement. I know my basic commands, am crate trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, and I can’t wait to find my forever home! If you are considering adopting Chip, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can help find your new furever friend!

Story
Hiya Hooman! Name’s Pip, your future best friend. I flew all the way from the Bahamas just to meet you. I heard you were looking for a well trained pup, who has the best listening ears. That’s me! If you call my name, I will always come to you. If you ask me to sit, I will sit and wait, even in front of my food! All I want is to make my hooman happy and if you give me praise or pets I will be so happy too. If you enjoy walks, I do too! I will stay in heal right next to you and look up to you for direction and when you “free” me, I’ll sniff and walk slightly ahead of you. If you’d rather play in our home or yard with some toys, I’ll fetch them for you. Walks and fetch are my favorites! Did you say it’s been a long day and want to rest, can I join you on the couch? I’m the biggest snuggle bug who’s always up for some hugs or I can just lay next to you if you’d like some quiet time. I promise to be your forever loyal and loving dog who is the best companion If you are interested in learning more about this dog, please complete an application by visiting http://www.floridaurgentrescue.com/adopt. Sammy is 2 year and 3 months old, he is a lab, poodle, and terrier mix. He is high energy and we have two small children. He is house broken but prefers a lot of outdoor time. Due to my husbands new job and having small kids in the house we are just unable to keep up with him. He really needs a big yard or a farm to run around.

Story
I have a dog named Marley who I had for 2 years looking for someone that has a good clean home. That is willing to take her off my hands because I plan on moving out of state and I can no longer keep her. She is good and loving and kind she loves Toy balls to play with. She is energetic she loves playing outside. She is fast lol I know for a fact that she loves people. She does alert her owner when someone is knocking at the door she barks, but she loves attention. She likes soft food mixed with hard food. I feel sad that I have to do this but this is for the best. I hope someone can take her and questions please contact me.

Story
Olive was dumped as a liter on my property over a year ago, she was a puppy when her and her siblings arrived and fortunately all her siblings were able to find homes despite the lack of information we had, she was 1 of 11, and she was the biggest! Despite countless calls to animal control, and the cops we didnt receive any assistance in finding them a home. She now associates our property for dinner meals but roams the neighbors houses to play with their fur babies! She very active and playful, she licks everything, shes been outside basically her while life, ive taken her to the shelter on a leash and she was really good with loud sounds and barks, but we were turned around. Shes really good with kids but a little rambunctious cause shes just a kid too, good with farm animals as well we have chickens and a pig.

Story
Blackjack | 1.5 Years | 58 lbs Hello there, my name is Blackjack! I was hand selected by K9s For Warriors in October of 2024 after I passed my initial test with flying colors! While I may not be suited to become a service dog due to some kennel stress and medical concerns, I am an affectionate and devoted companion, eager to bask in the love and attention you can provide. Although I’ve made some dog friends during my time at K9s, my medical needs have limited my playtime. Instead, I find joy in chewing on Nyla bones, cuddling with my stuffed toys, and snuggling with my favorite humans. I thrive on close connection and prefer being near my people rather than spending time in a crate or dealing with long separations. I'm a playful and loyal companion seeking a calm, loving environment where I can continue to relax and heal until my medical restrictions are lifted. If you are considering adopting Blackjack, we highly encourage you to reach out to set up a formal meet and greet. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can help find your new furever friend!
