Story
Brobee is a Lab/Shepherd mix puppy born around 1/15/26. She currently weighs about 30 pounds and she's growing! Brobee is the total puppy package - sweet, friendly, and full of playful energy! This adorable girl absolutely loves to play and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. Shes also been fantastic with people, including children of all ages, making her a great fit for many different types of families. When the zoomies wind down, Brobee is all about the snuggles. She'll happily curl up next to you and soak up all the love, especially if belly rubs are involved - her favorite!  Brobee is crate trained and almost completely house trained, which gives her a great head start in her new home. Shes also incredibly smart and has been making amazing progress with her puppy training - this girl is eager to learn and please! She is still working on her leash manners, but she loves going for walks and exploring the world around her. With a little continued training, shes sure to make an amazing adventure buddy! Brobee can be quite vocal during playtime and when meeting new friends, so she may be best suited for a home without shared walls. If you're looking for a playful, affectionate, and well-rounded pup to add to your family, Brobee might just be your perfect match. Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Midnight, an 8-year-old Goldendoodle with a gentle heart and a sweet tooth! Weighing 44 pounds, Midnight can be a little shy when meeting new people and exploring new situations, but a tasty treat is often the quickest way to earn her trust. Midnight is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in and feel safe. With a calm approach, plenty of encouragement, and a few snacks along the way, she has the potential to blossom into a devoted companion. If you have a soft spot for the quieter dogs and enjoy watching confidence grow one small victory at a time, Midnight may be the perfect match for you. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
My adoption fee was generously sponsored! Bailey is like sunshine; she lights up every room she walks in to. She is a sweet, mellow, and social girl. And don’t let the grey hair fool you, she is still young and spritely, she’s just a lady who is aging gracefully. She likes to say hi to everyone in the room, but she is very respectful and never jumps or barks. Bailey is also crate trained and enjoys having her own space; She will often go in her crate all on her own when wanting to take a nap. She enjoys going for her daily walks around the neighborhood and she is phenomenal on leash! Never pulls or barks at other people or animals; though she does give squirrels a mean glare, so they know who’s boss. She likes to spend the rest of the day chewing on her bone, napping, eating treats, and she especially loves cuddling with you; she loves to rest her head on your chest while she naps. She needs to be the only dog in the home, but she has meet cats and seems to do well with them. Bailey is the perfect dog for anybody looking for a well behaved new best friend. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Paper versions are available upon request. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile above. After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days. Please note- Out of respect for our volunteers and staff, we are closed on Sunday and Monday and will not be processing any applications on those days. Please get back to us right away when we call or email regarding an application so that we can quickly connect using the process below: Select a pet and submit an online adoption survey. A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Thank you, Pet Central Helps!
