Meet Saylor, aka Saylor Sunshine! Saylor is a sweet, playful 8-month-old yellow Lab mix who radiates happiness and love once she comes out of her shell. She has a history of being malnourished, so she’s a little timid at first—but with patience, trust, and love, she blossoms into a joyful, affectionate companion. Saylor is a “dog’s dog” and would thrive with a playful canine sibling to show her how wonderful life can be in a loving home. She also gets along with cats and is gentle with children, though she would do best with older kids due to her sensitivity to sudden movements and loud noises. This sweet girl loves cuddles on the couch, playing with toys, and lounging in the sun. She’s currently learning potty and puppy manners, and she has a fear of cars, so a home with a fenced yard for safe play is ideal. Saylor is ready to bond deeply with someone willing to give her patience, guidance, and unconditional love. She’s a light in the dark and deserves a forever family to love and protect her—could that be you? He came to us from a partnering shelter where he wasn’t doing well, but once he settled into a foster home, Moose quickly relaxed and started thriving. He’s gaining confidence, building trust, and showing himself to be a solid, well-mannered dog. ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Friendly with people ✔️ Social with other dogs ✔️ Cat-tested and passed (slow, proper introductions recommended due to his size) Moose will continue to thrive with consistency and a home where he can continue to settle in and be himself. He’s a big, steady presence who’s ready for a fresh start in a home that matches his energy and size. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Bernie Short for Bernadette DOB: 11/06/2025 Breed: Great Pyrenees / Labrador Retriever / German Shepherd mix (best guess) Bernie is an adorable, sweet puppy who’s just beginning her journey in the world. She’s playful and curious, enjoying time spent exploring her surroundings as much as settling in for cuddle time. Like most puppies her age, Bernie is learning her routines and will benefit from continued training, socialization, and patience as she grows. One of Bernie’s favorite things is being around people — especially kids! At a recent adoption event, she truly delighted in all the attention from children and soaked up every bit of love she received. Bernie would thrive in a home ready for all things puppy — playtime, learning, and lots of affection. With guidance and consistency, she’s sure to grow into a loyal, loving companion. Breed mix is a best guess based on appearance and age; we cannot guarantee breed makeup. All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
