Story
Meet Saylor, aka Saylor Sunshine! Saylor is a sweet, playful 8-month-old yellow Lab mix who radiates happiness and love once she comes out of her shell. She has a history of being malnourished, so she’s a little timid at first—but with patience, trust, and love, she blossoms into a joyful, affectionate companion. Saylor is a “dog’s dog” and would thrive with a playful canine sibling to show her how wonderful life can be in a loving home. She also gets along with cats and is gentle with children, though she would do best with older kids due to her sensitivity to sudden movements and loud noises. This sweet girl loves cuddles on the couch, playing with toys, and lounging in the sun. She’s currently learning potty and puppy manners, and she has a fear of cars, so a home with a fenced yard for safe play is ideal. Saylor is ready to bond deeply with someone willing to give her patience, guidance, and unconditional love. She’s a light in the dark and deserves a forever family to love and protect her—could that be you? If you are interested in meeting Saylor, please fill out an application via our website at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/TRP/Dog and we will get back to you via email once your application has been reviewed. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us at adoptionstrp@gmail.com. Saylor's adoption fee is $200 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, spay, microchip, deworm, and HW testing.

Story
Elfie 4 months old | 15 lbs as of 12/19 Black Lab / Belgian Malinois mix (best guess) Elfie is a bright, curious puppy who is already showing what a great companion she can grow into. She is friendly with kids and enjoys the company of other dogs, making her a nice fit for a social household. Cats are currently unknown. Based on what we’ve been told and what we’re seeing, Elfie appears to be a Labrador Retriever / Belgian Malinois–type mix. This combination often produces dogs that are smart, athletic, and people-oriented. Elfie is expected to mature into a medium to large adult dog, likely in the 50–65 lb range. Elfie is still very much a puppy and will benefit from continued training, structure, and regular exercise as she grows. Dogs with this type of working-breed mix tend to thrive with adopters who enjoy being involved — walks, playtime, learning new skills, and daily interaction. In return, they are often incredibly loyal, attentive companions. Elfie would do best in a home ready to continue basic training, provide consistency, and help her channel her energy in positive ways. With guidance and engagement, she has all the makings of a fun, devoted, and well-rounded adult dog. If you’re looking for a smart young pup to grow and learn with, Elfie may be a wonderful match. All of our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee for all dogs/pups: $225. Our dogs are in foster homes across the KC metro. We do not have a shelter facility. Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HAUS/Dog

Story
Meet Moose 🐾 Moose is a 4-year-old, 50-lb chocolate Lab/Staffy mix who just needed the right environment to show who he really is. He came to us from a partnering shelter where he wasn’t doing well, but once he settled into a foster home, Moose quickly relaxed and started thriving. He’s gaining confidence, building trust, and showing himself to be a solid, well-mannered dog. ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Friendly with people ✔️ Social with other dogs ✔️ Cat-tested and passed (slow, proper introductions recommended due to his size) Moose will continue to thrive with consistency and a home where he can continue to settle in and be himself. He’s a big, steady presence who’s ready for a fresh start in a home that matches his energy and size. ✨ All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Florence 4 months old | ~20 lbs Lab / Belgian Malinois–type mix (best guess) Elfie’s sister Florence is a sweet, attentive puppy who enjoys being around people and other dogs. She is friendly with kids and comfortable in social settings, making her a great candidate for a home looking to add a young dog to the family. Her experience with cats is currently unknown. Based on what we’ve been told and her appearance, Florence appears to be a Labrador Retriever / Belgian Malinois–type mix. Dogs with this mix are often intelligent, active, and very people-focused. Florence is expected to grow into a medium to large adult, likely in the 50–65 lb range. Florence is still in her puppy stage and will benefit from continued training, routine, and daily outlets for both mental and physical exercise.
