Thank you.*** Clover is the sweetest and what a beauty! She is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 49 pounds. Meet Clover, a gorgeous, loveable and affectionate girl who is sure to bring happiness and warmth to your heart and home. Clover is a true social butterfly, always looking to get love from everyone and likes leaning against you for attention. Sadly, Clover is heartworm positive, and we are looking for a family who wants to foster to adopt for her. When we saw Clover, we knew she was something special and had to bring her to our rescue. She will be starting her treatment soon and will need a quiet, low-key type of home where she can calmly recover and heal. You will not meet a happier pup, she is so connecting and attentive to you, always seeking closeness and affection. But the cutest thing she does is when you walk by her kennel, she grabs her Nylabone and stands at the front just a wagging her tail as fast as it will go with her bone in her mouth. She is quite proud and happy to show it to you! She loves to hold toys in her mouth too and always has a soft mouth release with them, she is so darn sweet! A basic manners refresher for her would be perfect as she does like to jump up for attention. Clover will need a home where any children are respectful, calm and at least 8 years old so she can have a peaceful place to recover during her treatment. Clover would love it if you came to meet her, she is truly going to make a wonderful best friend, and she really wants a family to love. If you are interested in Clover and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. Story
Sally, Mimi and Magic were all found in the summer at an abandoned house. Sally and Mimi are almost identical, except Mimi has whiter on her. Magic looks to have had a different father that had some hound in him. They are all bonded to each other but can be adopted separately. However, if someone wanted to adopt more than one, I would recommend Sally and Mimi. Magic is a bit more independent. Sally is the leader of the bunch and the most outgoing, silly and fun and loves belly rubs. I would say they are for the most part house trained. There has been only one accident in the house from the three of them in three months, but they spend a lot of time outdoors. An adapter would need to know that they were definitely may need some close supervision in the house at first. These dogs are being fostered in the south but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

This mom was brought in with her babies as strays. She is a sweet girl who does well with other pups and people. She has plenty of energy to go wherever her family goes. She might be house trained but does use a dog door. She has been on a leash and has done okay. She will be learning more of that and some commands. She is a great girl although a bit rough around the edges. She will be terrific for any family and is ready to head out! She is located in Tennessee but can be transported through Rescue Riders.
