Story
You have met your match with Walton Mackie - The cutest face with the tiniest ears for his 56lb body, a distinguished boy that will 100% steal your heart. At 10 years young (even our vet did not believe his age due to how great he looks). He is currently living in a foster home with 2 other dogs and a kid, and doing great with all! We do recommend older, respectful kids would be the best fit for our boy, as well as low-energy dogs. He says "that puppy energy can just stay away." He is fully up for any and all adventures, Mackie can go ANYWHERE. He has experienced busy stores, car trips, the vet, high-rise city living (elevator included), walks in Downtown Detroit trying to make friends with everyone that walked by, a farm, just to name a few. He loves to run and explore the yard and play fetch, but also adores a great belly rub, a snooze in only the comfiest spots he can find, walks incredibly well on a leash, and is becoming a professional couch snuggler. So far he has not met any toy he does not like. Great in the car as long as he can hold onto the center console, and prefers to always only potty outside. He even has his nighttime ritual which involves choosing a stuffy toy to snuggle with before getting tucked in to his favorite sleep spot. Whether he is destuffing a toy leaving fluff hanging somewhere from his face, or pawing at people when he wants attention, or gently resting his paws on your leg while he sits up like a meerkat for attention, this boy is constant entertainment. Like to watch a dog that gets the zoomies? We are talking a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL here. Up until now, Walton Mackie has lived his whole life as an outdoor dog and is fully embracing his new bougie life and is doing simply AMAZING! If you are looking for THE total package, look no further.

Story
Blossom is a petite girl with a spunky attitude, who loves to be in the middle of the action. She is pretty nimble for a 6 month old puppy and will chart a path to whatever treat she is after. She loves to give sweet kisses and will, with the slightest encouragement, plop her head on your lap for some ear and head scratches while she gazes up at you. Blossom’s sweet, playful nature helps her get along with every dog she meets. When she’s feeling extra cute, she will pull out her signature diving plop and roll. In new situations, Blossom tends to be timid but with a little coaxing (aka treats) she quickly gains confidence and gets her spunk back. If you have any chew toys lying around, you can be sure that Blossom will make sure they are well-loved. Details: Blossom is crate trained, mostly house trained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She gets along with kids and generally avoids cats. She is working on her basic commands and is up for adoption through Save-A-Stray. Feel free to contact me for more details/questions! If you need a buddy complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. This boy was surrendered when the owners could not find him a home. He is a sweet lab boy who is ready to go! He is friendly, goofy and just goes with the flow. He does like water (at least in a kiddie pool) so he would fit into any lifestyle. He will need basic puppy training but should learn fast with routine and rewards. He will make a terrific family companion. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders

Story
Meet Bella!!! Bella landed herself in an overcrowded shelter and we jumped into action to get her to safety. Poor Bella was left behind after her owner passed away! She was confused and trembled in her kennel. Now she is in a foster home we have learned so much about her! We know she is very attentive and will follow you around, make sure you're doing ok without her ;) She is a very chill, mellow dog who would love nothing more than a human or two (or more) to show her the good life. What we currently know about her: ▪️Approx. 8 years old ▪️Yellow Lab Mix ▪️Is ok with kids, lived with dogs in previous home but would do best either with a submissive, calm dog or as an only dog. ▪️Potty trained ▪️Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed PLEASE CONSIDER OPENING YOUR HEART AND HOME TO BELLA 🥹 Application: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
