Thank you.*** Clover is the sweetest and what a beauty! She is estimated to be about 4 years old and weighs 49 pounds. Meet Clover, a gorgeous, loveable and affectionate girl who is sure to bring happiness and warmth to your heart and home. Clover is a true social butterfly, always looking to get love from everyone and likes leaning against you for attention. Sadly, Clover is heartworm positive, and we are looking for a family who wants to foster to adopt for her. When we saw Clover, we knew she was something special and had to bring her to our rescue. She will be starting her treatment soon and will need a quiet, low-key type of home where she can calmly recover and heal. You will not meet a happier pup, she is so connecting and attentive to you, always seeking closeness and affection. But the cutest thing she does is when you walk by her kennel, she grabs her Nylabone and stands at the front just a wagging her tail as fast as it will go with her bone in her mouth. She is quite proud and happy to show it to you! She loves to hold toys in her mouth too and always has a soft mouth release with them, she is so darn sweet! A basic manners refresher for her would be perfect as she does like to jump up for attention. Clover will need a home where any children are respectful, calm and at least 8 years old so she can have a peaceful place to recover during her treatment. Clover would love it if you came to meet her, she is truly going to make a wonderful best friend, and she really wants a family to love. If you are interested in Clover and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. He is happy go lucky, friendly and sweet as can be! He is such a nice and fun boy! As you can also see, he is so handsome! Midnight loves to play and run around the yard and loves loves loves his toys! He also really enjoys going for car rides and is a great passenger. He is the best buddy and is always up for adventures. What a great cuddler he is too! Midnight can be choosy who he likes as his doggie friends. He loves to go on buddy walks with his foster siblings. No cats please. A physical enclosed fence is also required. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.8 month old Ari was adopted at 8 weeks old from an Amish family right outside of Kalamazoo. she was not very social at first but she became socialized while with us. She was always skittish around men, but she warms up pretty quickly. She was always around our small dogs and we never had any problem with her, until we did. She knows how to sit and lay down. We are still working on potty training. She likes to lay by your feet and loves to play with toys. She is UTD on all her shots and is spayed. She is licensed through Jackson County. I think she would love to be with someone who loves her and makes her part of their lives. Should not be with other animals, or children until deemed reliable in those situations by a professional trainer. Pepper is gentle, sweet, and could use a fur sibling in the home or she would be ok as an only dog. We recommend puppy classes for all of our puppies. Puppy classes a great way for your pup to meet other dogs, build confidence, and learn proper manners. Always keep training positive, rewarding, and fun. We focus on rewarding good behavior and building trust. No shock collars, prong collars, or choke chains needed.The more positive experiences a puppy has now, the more likely they will grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog.If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day.
